With the fate of a new era on the line, Kenshiro's deadly battle with Demon Kaioh continues. Meanwhile, Lin had her destructive point struck, which caused her to lose her past memories, and fall madly in love with the first person she sees when she awakens. But Hyoh rescued her from that crisis.

Hyoh: You can't open your eyes yet -there's only one man you should lay your eyes upon!

Then, in the midst of the battle, Kaioh learned of his shocking past!

Kaioh: What?! A descendant of the North Star?

Kenshiro: That mark of the Big Dipper is the undeniable proof. What I learned from the female statue, was the tragic tale of the founder of the North Star divine fist.

The founder of the North Star divine fist and the founder of the North Star lapis lazuli fist! Their mothers were sisters, born to the North Star clan.

Kenshiro: If you intend to tarnish their great pride any further... love will defeat you!

The 3rd Man Who Holds Lin's Fate Appears!!

Kaioh says he understands why he hates the North Star clan so much now, and why he devoted himself entirely to its elimination. It's the spirit within him of the North Star clan. He says they were turned away in shame, despite their right to succeed, the spirit was forced to become an outcast. He says the spirit is filled with rage, and goes to punch Kenshiro.

Kenshiro just stands there and gets hit. He pulls Kaioh's hand back and tells Kaioh that if he must hate, then he can beat him to his heart's content. But he won't let him go, as his soul is tainted with hatred. The two fire up their fighting spiritual energy.

Elsewhere, Hyoh, Lin and Black Yaksha head towards where Kenshiro is. But they then see a massive army in the distance, heading towards them. Hyoh and Black Yaksha realize that this is Kaioh's army, which consists of elite Asuras.

Black Yaksha says there must be around 300 men down there. Hyoh puts Lin down and says it seems this is as far as he goes. He tells Black Yaksha to take Lin and run. He's still the second supreme ruler, and if he stakes his life here, he can buy some time for them.

Black Yaksha says these guys are battle-hardened Asuras, no matter how much time he tries to gain, he won't be able to escape them in his condition. But if the two of them both fight, they may be able to stop them. Hyoh decides they'll try it, and thinks that he'll show Lin the last of his strength. He and Black Yaksha then leap off the cliff.

Hyoh fires out an energy blast, which kills many Asuras.

Kaioh says the North Star clan's spirit dwells within him. He goes into a stance, which resembles the pose the statue was in, and says he'll show Kenshiro the extent of the invincible art that this stance brings forth.

He uses the heaven destruction technique, distorting the space around Kenshiro. He then charges towards him.

He uses another technique called seimyou danretsu (horrific bullet destroyer), and strikes Kenshiro many times. He then hits him with a kick, that sends Kenshiro flying into a cliff.

Kenshiro falls, and Kaioh tells him he's just struck a fatal destructive point -his body will soon be ripped apart. But Kenshiro gets up, unaffected by Kaioh's technique. Kenshiro tells him this is the limit of the North Star clan's art. The technique Kaioh just used was undeniably the art of the North Star clan. But ways to counter that art have been created.

He explains that it's why, 2,000 years ago, an invincible art of assassination was so desperately sought. And that art was the North Star divine fist. The perfected art of the clan could grow no further, but the North Star divine fist is an art for battles. Secret techniques were devised in the midst of constantly evolving battles, making it invincible.

The female statue revealed, as a last measure to defeat him, the counter technique. Kaioh thinks an art that can counter his own is impossible. He goes to attack Kenshiro, but Kenshiro uses one of his own techniques: kentou shadan (fist stealing discarding resolution).

This move doesn't even seem to hit Kaioh, who tries to block it anyway. Kenshiro says that in combat, the fist you use can become a liability. If they were equals, his own fist would smash through his opponent's fist itself.

Kaioh's hands start to react. Kenshiro tells him that until now, he was a big fish in a small pond, who had never fought anyone who was stronger than himself. But he has survived in battles against men who were stronger then him...

Kaioh asks him if he means that, because he had the North Star divine fist, he's saying he exceeded all of them. He says he won't accept this, and wants to gain his strength back. But his gauntlets then explode as his hands shatter. He asks Kenshiro if he's saying that he and Hyoh are inferior to the North Star divine fist no matter what.

At the other battle, just four of Kaioh's army remain alive. They can't believe they're all that's left. Hyoh tells them they all know how this will end, and tells them that if they value their lives, they should leave now.

They say they can't do that -Lord Kaioh has ordered them not to return until they've killed him, so there is no turning back for them now. Hyoh tells Black Yaksha that he and Kaioh were left in this land because of his own weakness. He then falls to his knees, so the Asuras attack.

Hyoh says Kaioh was left behind because of his violent temper. He kills the four Asuras, and says the path to becoming a hero was closed off for Kaioh. Despite his immeasurable talent, his terrible temper closed him off from the path to the North Star divine fist. He thinks that Kaioh is pitiful, and can't allow him to bear any further sorrow.

They then check on Lin, and find that she still hasn't woken up yet. Black Yaksha then coughs up blood.

He tells Hyoh that his North Star clan art was impressive, as was his love and compassion for Kaioh after he killed the love of his life. He says he'll be proud of him in the afterlife, and fighting alongside him in his last moments... he can't say any more, and dies in Hyoh's arms. Hyoh is then suddenly hit in the back by a giant boomerang.

As this causes him even more injury, an Asura catches the boomerang. He and another army of Kaioh's have appeared, and say it looks like they'll get to be the ones who take Hyoh down. Hyoh thinks this is the end for him.

Kaioh tells Kenshiro that no matter how strong his art is, he'll still walk the path of the conqueror. He goes to kick him, but Kenshiro strikes his leg, causing him to fall.

Kaioh gets up and says Kenshiro's art is truly a fist of the battlefield, like one he has never experienced. He gets up and says he won't lose, especially to him. He goes to kick Kenshiro with his other leg, only for Kenshiro to knock him down again. Kaioh can't believe he, a Demon, has been this humiliated.

He gets up and unleashes all of his evil fighting spiritual energy, which causes his armor to shatter into pieces. He tells Kenshiro that this is the end.

Meanwhile, Hyoh is too weak to fight, and gets shot in the arm with an arrow. The Asuras close in and say they'll finish him off, but then several of them get crushed under the hooves of a large horse.

It's Bat and the Black King, who take down several Asuras. The rest of the army charge towards them, but then, hundreds of arrows are fired.

They hit and kill all of the Asuras, as in the distance, the rest of the North Star army appear. Bat goes to check on Lin, as Hyoh asks who he is.

Bat introduces himself, and says he came across the ocean to find Lin nd Kenshiro -the other people with him are the North Star army. As they head off towards Kenshiro, Bat hopes Ken is safe.
