Somewhere on Shura a guy called Gamon says that Han is dead and he was killed by a man called Kenshiro. That means that there is a place for a new Rasho, and he intends to take it. Gamon wears armor that makes him look like a scorpion but he's no joke -he can fire off deadly poison needles. However Gamon doesn't like working too hard and the task of proving that he is stronger than Han means defeating Kenshiro. He has a plan to get someone else to do that but he'll take the credit, and he tells his troops to go and attack the nearest village to draw out a man called Rock.



At Rock's village, Yohan comes running up to Rock, saying he wants to join Raoh's army so he can fight alongside them, he has a staff and everything. Rock takes his weapon and says that he is far too young to fight. If he died his mother would be traumatized. Another man comes running and says that the Shura have attacked a village in the west!



Rock and his men head to the village, but find that it has been destroyed and all of the villagers are missing. Gamon and his troops then appear and say that they've captured all of the villagers, and intend to kill them all unless Rock and his team can kill Kenshiro. They have one day to do it if they ever want the villagers to be set free.



Rock agrees to do it and Gamon and his troops vanish. Rock tells the others that he has no problem killing Kenshiro, as he shouldn't have come here in the first place. Later that day Kenshiro is walking through a canyon when he suddenly has to avoid a knife thrown at him.



Rock appears and Ken says that he thought he didn't want to see him. Rock says that the circumstances have changed and then he and his other men start to throw grenades. Ken starts to run off, but there are other traps set up, as he has to jump up to avoid being spiked.



Lopez, one of Rock's team, attacks Ken with his whip, but Ken once again manages to avoid taking a hit. Ken runs a bit further, but runs out of places to go and comes to the edge of a cliff. Rock then attacks him with a knife, but he teleports out of the way.



Rock stabs at him again, but this time Ken grabs his wrist and almost punches him but then stops, saying that he can tell from Rock's eyes that he really has no intent to kill. Rock tries for a third time but Ken gets out of the way and then leaps downwards, further into the canyon.



However Rock wanted him to do this as he whistles, which is a signal for his men to let loose a barrage of rocks with pile on top of Kenshiro and bury him. With no signs of movement they believe they've killed him and Gamon has seen everything. He tells two of his troops to go and find Kenshiro's body whilst he and the others take Rock's group to the fort, where all of the villagers have been held.



Gamon retreats and Rock follows his truck. The two Shura left to look for Ken say how stupid Rock is, as he and everyone else will die as soon as they reach the fort. They don't realise that Yohan has just heard what they said, and he goes off to try and catch up with Rock. Thanks to him tripping over a stone the Shura do hear him...



...and decide he'd be best off dead. But before they can finish him off, they both explode!



Kenshiro has of course survived, but Yohan still believes he is an enemy and attempts to fight him before collapsing. When he wakes up Ken has seen to his injured leg and also brought some water for him. Yohan wants to go and warn Rock, but he can't due to his injury. He says that he is Rock's right hand made, so Ken listens to what he has to say about him.



Years a go, a young Shura came to Rock's village and was found by Rock. He said that he wasn't cut out for killing people and he didn't want to continue with the training. Rock told him to stay here and live with them in their peaceful village, but then another Shura appeared and wanted the boy back. Rock told him to go away as he didn't want to fight any more. The Shura said Rock was pathetic, much like his father, for not fighting. Rock started to get into an argument with him when his mother ran across and asked the Shura to forgive them, and for him to leave peacefully.



The Shura thought it would be more amusing to murder her before her son's eyes, so that was exactly what he did, impaling her with a spear. The Shura then laughed and told Rock that if he's angry, he should come and fight him. Rock didn't want to fight, so the Shura laughed at him even more and then took the boy away.



Back in the present Yohan says that Rock became a fighter and has been waiting for the day Raoh arrives. Ken sees the tracks left by Gamon's truck and starts to follow them. Meanwhile, Rock has been reunited with the villagers, but Gamon intends to kill them all anyway, as he doesn't want anyone other than his own men knowing that he wasn't the one responsible for killing Kenshiro. Rock has a surprise though and reveals to Gamon that some more of his men have the arena surrounded, and all of them are armed.



Gamon isn't scared though and with his tail he hits all of the reinforcements with poison needles and kills them all in seconds. He then tells his men to show off their stupidly awesome centipede fighting technique -the men all jump on top of each other to form centipedes, each one is armed with many pincers. Gamon tells them to start killing everyone.



Rock makes an offer and tells Gamon to just kill him, but to spare everyone else. The centipede warriors stab him in a non-lethal way and Gamon says he'll consider it after he has died. Kenshiro then finally shows up and stops them from killing Rock.



The centipedes turn their attention to Ken, but as they try and smash into him, he jumps up and hurricane kicks them out of the way. With all of his men dead, Gamon decides to enter the fight, using his own special technique:


KOUGA TETSUJOU SHI

(Armor Fang Piercing Line Thorn)



Gamon unleashes many poison needles at Kenshiro, only for Ken to use a beam projectile which sends the needles back the way they came. Gamon gets hit by them all and quickly dies.



Ken turns around to leave as most of the villagers are cheering, but Rock then walks up and thanks him for saving them all. Ken tells him to take care of himself, as the villagers need him for their survival.



Later on Rock and his team are heading back home when they find Yohan. He explains that he was attacked by two Shura, but Kenshiro saved him. Rock gets him up on his horse and as they ride on he says that Raoh isn't the savior for the land of Shura -Kenshiro is. There is hope for them once more.
