These mermen had their sprites completely redrawn for the final version, and look better for it in my opinion. They also shoot blue projectiles in the prototype, whilst they're green in the final. The prototype lacks the little ghost enemy that the final has in this room. |

The first sub-boss had its sprite redesigned for the final version. Its flame attack also has different, red sprites in the proto, which were changed to yellow for the final. This boss is much easier to beat in the proto because if you hit it whilst it's using its flames, it stops the attack. So you can take it out pretty fast. This doesn't work in the final version. The final version has the hellhound explode upon death, and you have to hit it one more time to finish it off. This hasn't been implemented yet in the prototype. |

The spinning spiky platform is glitched in the prototype, you can't jump on it, and can walk through it. It is capable of hurting you though. You can still progress here as there's another glitch with the middle platform -jump at it from the right and you'll be able to climb up it. The final version fixed this, and you can land on the spinning platform without issue. |

Only the middle spinning spiky platform has collision in the prototype -the middle one. If you try and walk or jump onto the other two, you'll fall though. In the final they're all working properly. |

As you move up this skeleton, the color of the sky doesn't change in the prototype. In the final, it gets darker and darker as you move up. |

The background colors for the boss room are slightly different, where the prototype has black, the final has brown. Upon defeating the boss and collecting the orb, the prototype will freeze your character immediately, play the victory jingle, then go to the next stage. In the final, your character will still animate for a few moments, then freeze as the score totals appear on screen as the jingle plays. Then it goes to the next stage. |
