Synopsis
When the younger Toguro brother reports on Hirue's death, Tarukane has doubts on their abilities, and decides to show them something: Helen, one of several monsters he owns. He is hoping that Helen will scare the Toguros into lowering their price, but instead, younger Toguro enters Helen's cage. Using a technique which increases his muscle mass, Toguro proves he's a demon by killing Helen in an instant, breaking her in half with one punch. Toguro says that he was only using 30% of his power, but 20% would have been enough. Tarukane suddenly changes his tune, and wants Toguro to be his bodyguard. He then decides to get the members of the Black Black Club together.
In the forest, Yusuke's team are still heading to the mansion, but Botan falls victim to a spider demon that wants to eat her after he's disposed of the other two. Kuwabara and Yusuke save her, and then Yusuke kills the demon with one strike. In the Spirit Realm, Koenma, Kurama and Jorge have been watching. Koenma finds out from Kurama that Hiei is still missing, which Koenma isn't pleased about. He worries that if Hiei finds the mansion first, and slaughters everyone inside it for kidnapping his sister, things will be bad for him -a demon killing humans is a massive sin.
Hiei locates Yusuke and the others in the forest, but doesn't reveal himself to them. He dreams of the time he got his evil eye, and he then sees Yukina. He wakes up just in time to see Yusuke's group getting ready to depart, but he keeps himself hidden from them. Back in the mansion, Tarukane tells the members of the Black Black Club -members who are leading businessmen in the underworld -about how three intruders are trying to get into his mansion. He wants to make a wager: the intruders versus Toguro's demons: who will win? Most of the members bet on the demons, but one of them, Sakyo, bets on the intruders. Outside, the group of demons sent to attack are soundly defeated by Kuwabara and Yusuke.
Kuwabara gets even more fired up, putting on his love bandanna, which he claims materialized out of his fighting spirit. Having lost billions to Sakyo, Tarukane moves forward with the next bet. The Sankishu (Three Ogre Mob) -a trio of ogres consisting of Miyuki, Inmaki and Gokumonki -are sent to stop the intruders. Most of the Black Black Club bet on them, but Sakyo again bets on the intruders. Yusuke's team arrive in the mansion, where Miyuki meets them, telling them they will face her.
