In space, the Thunder Arrow was damaged by the missile launcher's destruction, and is being repaired by most of the Dinoforce and some repair droids. Kakuryuu finds out that Gouryuu and the Breastforce are still inside the ship, where they are having a meeting with Deszaras. A meeting about the battle he just lost. Deszaras has been in a constant bad mood after his encounter with Victory Saber.

Inside the ship, Deszaras screams at his troops, telling them that they are worthless fools, and it is because of them his missile plan failed spectacularly. Even when the Destrons have the upmost advantage, they clumsy attacks result in them not obtaining even a single drop of energy! Leozack points out that the one who miscalculated Star Saber's arrival time was...

...Deszaras silences him. Before he gets to talk like that, he must first actually bring him back some energy. He eventually drops Leozack, and tells everyone that from this moment on they are to concentrate on destroying Star Saber and Victory Leo, for the glory of the Destrons.

In Shuttle Base, Waver and Wing watch as Jean and Holi carry boxes full of spare parts. They wonder if they are making something, but are told that it is a secret. They take the spare parts to Laster, who is helping them create a mecha.

The mecha is nearly completed, and Jean and Holi help Laster finish it off. To help the Cybertrons more than ever before, Jean requested that Laster and Holi built him his own robot. The mecha is completed, and is able to transform into a vehicle. Meanwhile, in space, Star Saber watches as a massive Cybertron ship heads out.

Having finished their work on Earth, Perceptor, Wheeljack and Minerva are leaving the planet. Perceptor and Star Saber salute each other, as the ship heads out. Perceptor will resume helping other Cybertrons across the galaxy.

Back on Earth, Illumina is waiting around for Jean to show up before school starts, but then she hears something heading her way. She sees that some kind of robot is on the loose, and she fears it may be a Destron! But it is actually just Jean in his new mecha.

Illumina isn't the only one to see the mecha though. Rairyuu and Kakuryuu were sent by Gouryuu to spy on the school, and see Jean and Illumina. They think that the new Cybertron with them sure is weird, and had better find out more. Jean gets his mecha to transform to vehicle mode, and the two Dinoforce members see this. They think it must be a new Cybertron warrior, and wonder what to do. Kakuryuu thinks they should report it to their leader.

Rairyuu doesn't think this is a great idea, and he visions Gouryuu beating him up for reporting without attacking. But if they attack and fail, they won't have anything to report at all. They eventually agree to go off and report together. Meanwhile, Jean helps Illumina up into his mecha, as they are going to be going to school in it.

Jean transforms it back to robot mode and heads to the school, where everyone is amazed by it. Headmistress Mabel tells Jean to put it in the parking lot around the back. Illumina goes to meet her friends, Joyce and Rami, but Joyce thinks love is in the air if Illumina is going on a drive with Jean.

The Dinoforce are all together near the school. Gouryuu says that this plan is a plan for him and by him, and he's not going to change it just because some unfamiliar Cybertron popped up. They're going to smash that school up to lure out Star Saber. Kakuryuu isn't sure they should do that, because what if that new Cybertron is really strong? Remember what happened when they fought Victory Leo as Dinoking? Gouryuu rallies his troops, saying they'll crush him with their great power.

But then he thinks back to when Dinoking fought Victory Leo, and how he got defeated pretty quickly. Maybe they'd best check this new Cybertron out after all. Rairyuu then says that the new Cybertron is on the move again, as Jean is with Clump, Rami, Joyce and Illumina, showing them how high he can make his mecha jump.

Gouryuu decides to test him out, and has Kakuryuu fire a shot at him. As the shot is fired, the mecha leaps high into the air. The resulting explosion from the laser shocks everyone inside the mecha, but the Dinoforce are more upset that this new Cybertron seems pretty good after all! Gouryuu knows that it is still just one Cybertron runt, so they don't need to worry -they just need to start this party!

The Dinoforce charge into battle, and start wrecking the school. Jean challenges the Dinoforce, even though his mecha has no weapons. He tells the others he's somehow got to buy some time until the Supreme Commander arrives.

Holi contacts Star Saber, who is returning from space. He says Jean has just contacted Shuttle Base, saying that the Destrons are attacking the school. Star Saber says he and Victory Leo will head to the school immediately. Back at the school, the Dinoforce try and circle Jean, but he tries to block them off. This results in the Dinoforce tumbling over each other, so Jean moves away from the school. Realising that the new Cybertron is running, Gouryuu thinks he might be really weak, and also be making fun of them. He chases after Jean.

He eventually gets the mecha to fall over, and is about to destroy it when Star Saber and Victory Leo arrive. But since Gouryuu has Jean at his mercy, he tells Star Saber and Victory Leo not to move, whilst telling his troops to eliminate the Cybertrons.

Since they can't fight back, Star Saber and Victory Leo can only get blasted around. But Jean comes up with an idea, and fires several powerful smoke bombs. The smoke quickly thickens around the Dinoforce.

They all become confused and start running around wildly, letting Jean get his mecha back up. He transforms and rolls out to where Star Saber and Victory Leo are. Star Saber asks Gouryuu what he's going to do now. His answer to that is simple: form Dinoking!

Star Saber and Victory Leo unite to form Victory Saber. Dinoking has a surprise though, as he reveals his powerful Dinoblaster Cannon. He starts firing, but it can't stop Victory Saber and he ends up having to use it to block Victory Saber's sword.

Victory Saber slashes at Dinoking, putting a deep cut into his chest and making him fall apart. He then stands over them all and raises his sword above his head, ready to strike.

Gouryuu gets up and says he is the leader, so it doesn't matter what happens to him -just spare the others! But his troops say they are the ones who don't matter, and surround Victory Saber and even grab onto him. They tell Gouryuu to hurry and escape quickly.

Having seen enough, Victory Saber puts his sword away and tells them to rest and heal for the next time they meet. He tells Gouryuu he has been blessed with good troops. Later on, Victory Saber apologises to Mabel for the disturbance to the school, and that they will repair it.

Nearby, Jean apologises for putting Illumina in danger, but she's OK with it and thought Jean looked cool fighting the Destrons. Jean mentions that his mecha needs a name, and he was hoping he could name it after her. She says yes, and Jean is glad because he already had it painted on! He removes a sticker to reveal "Illumina II".

NOTES

In theory Wheeljack and Minerva are on that ship with Perceptor -they aren't actually specifically shown to be, however.

This is the only episode where Perceptor is actually referred to by name, all other times he's just called "Doctor".

Back in episode 3, the school was called "Schwimmbam School", but in this episode, it is called "Schwimmbad School". See the third episode notes for more info on this.

Due to Engrish the animators mistakenly spelt the name of Jean's mecha "Irumina II" rather than "Illumina II".
