"The Transformer war between the Cybertrons and Destrons has entered a critical phase with the appearance of the new Emperor of Destruction, Violengiguar, and his 9 Generals."

Planet Feminia is a peaceful place, but that peace is suddenly shattered. Cities are destroyed instantly, and the ground is set ablaze. Nearby, a young boy called Cain, and his pet flying rabbit creature Emusa see the destruction.

They then get sent flying when three of the Destron generals -Overlord, Abominus and Menasor -fly over them. Overlord creates a spear...

...which he throws down into the planet, shattering part of it. Cain has to hang on as the ground around him rips apart, but help is at hand Victory Saber, Galaxy Shuttle and the Rescue Patrol Team arrive.

Victory Saber saves Cain and Emusa, whilst Holi guides everyone into Galaxy Shuttle. The planet continues to be ripped apart, and Galaxy Shuttle takes off. Victory Saber places Cain and Emusa inside Galaxy Shuttle, who then flies away.

The planet then explodes, seemingly taking Victory Saber with it. The Rescue Patrol Team cry over their fallen Supreme Commander.

The Nine Great Demon Generals -Menasor, Abominus, Devastor, Dinosaurer, Black Zarak, Bruticus, Predaking, King Poseidon and Overlord -gather together. Overlord says they hail their new Emperor of Destruction: Lord Violengiguar! Violengiguar says that the Cybertron's Supreme Commander, Victory Saber, has vanished like the dust of space.

He says that he shall take control over the entire universe, and build a Destron Zone! His face changes, and he tells the Destrons to gather the super energy which is needed. His face changes again, and says to retrieve the energy by any means necessary.

Moonradar is out for a drive with Cain and Emusa. He asks Cain how life is on this planet, and Cain says it's the best. Rabbicrater drives in front of them and asks if that's so. He says that Zone has a super energy called energon Z, which is used for the largest Cybertron space self-defense system. Cain says Moonradar had mentioned that Zone was built by the Powered Masters, and Moonradar says that's right. The Powered Masters are space pioneers, heroes of their race since they support civilization and progress, and fight to build an ideal peaceful paradise in the galaxy. The group then arrive at:

As Moonradar repairs a cannon, Emusa says that Zone doesn't even have a single flower. Cain says it's because Zone is super science planet. Emusa wonders if it makes Moonradar and the others lonely, but Moonradar says he wouldn't say that. Emusa exclaims that he's not a mechanism, he's a living creature made of flesh and blood, and he wants to see flowers and nature from time to time! Moonradar says his kind are also living: they are super robot life forms. Cain tells Emusa not to say such things.

An alarm then goes off, and the Cybertrons see that several Destroys are heading their way. Rabbicrater wonders what they should do, as the Powered Masters still haven't returned from searching for Victory Saber. Moonradar says they'll show the Destroys the power of the Zone base, and has it transform.

All the weapons open fire, as the Destrons move in. Menasor says to kill them all, and throws out a projectile...

...which smashes through a building. As the Cybertrons fire back, the Jet Patrol Team transform and take off.

The Cybertron's weapons can't seem to effect the Destrons, who get hit by everything but just shrug it off. Overlord then slices apart a building, and starts digging around inside it.

He finds what they were sent to get: the energon Z. The Destrons withdraw, so Moonradar says they'll go after them. The Battle Team and Super Car Team are to come with him, whilst the Rescue Team are to start repairing the base. The Jet Team are to run a diagnostic on each part of the base, then follow after him and the others.

Part of the base then transforms again, as a rocket moves into position. The Cybertrons board it, and it takes off, heading into space. But as they leave Zone behind, an anomaly appears ahead of them.

Out of it appears Black Zarak, who the Cybertrons immediately fire at. He isn't fazed, and shoots back at them. He says he'll tear them and their rocket apart piece by piece, and then leaves.

The Cybertron's rocket has been trapped in an electric net, but the Jet Team then arrive. Moonradar orders them to use their laser cutters on the energy net, which they do. The net is destroyed and the rocket is freed. Moonradar wonders where the Destrons went, and Sidetrack says to leave it to him. He tells Sunrunner to use that radar he's always boasting about to find them.

Sunrunner leaves the rocket, and locates the Destrons. He says the Destrons have regrouped with the others, but are splitting up again. He realizes that one group is heading towards Earth! Rabbicrater wonders what the Destrons wants the energon Z for, and Rabbicrater says they'll follow after them to find out.

Back on Zone, Holi is wondering what they should do, but Pīpō tells him to stop his pacing, he's sure Moonradar and the others will be fine. Holi says at times like this, he wishes the Supreme Commander and the Powered Masters were here now. Just then, they notice some objects heading towards them:

The Powered Masters have found Victory Saber. Victory Saber is taken inside, and starts to undergo repairs. Dai Atlas says that the Destrons target the super mineral which is laying dormant within the Earth: zodiac. Sonic Bomber says it's a mysterious energy source which has the power to create a universe. Dai Atlas says that if the Destrons use energon Z together with the zodiac energy, they could create super energy which would be as powerful as a star. Victory Saber looks over at Dai Atlas, and nods. Dai Atlas nods back, and tells Sonic Bomber they've got to get to Earth as soon as possible.

The Powered Masters transform and take off. At Earth, the Destrons have begun their attack, searching for the zodiac.

A kid called Akira is catching butterflies in a net, but his fun is suddenly interrupted when Predaking lands right next to him. Predaking is about to stomp on him, but he's saved by Whisper. Whisper tells Akira not to worry, as he's a Cybertron Micro Transformer.

Whisper takes Akira back up to the rocket, where he meets Cain, Emusa and Moonradar. Cain tells him he's safe now, and says he and Emusa are from planet Feminia. He says the Earth is a beautiful planet, and Emusa thinks it's so full of nature.

Moonradar is informed that more Destrons have been located, so he orders everyone to move out and hit the Destrons with everything they've got. He has the rocket land and transform, which becomes a battle base. The Cybertrons fire on the Destrons, but again, their attacks can't do any damage. The Destrons start returning fire.

The Cybertrons continue firing, but start to realize they can't stop the Destrons. As the rocket shakes, Cain tells Akira it's alright, the Cybertrons will protect them -he knows it. But outside, Dinosaurer is about to clobber the rocket.

However, he then gets shot at by a new enemy: the Powered Masters have arrived! They transform, and Dai Atlas and Sonic Bomber introduce themselves to the Destrons.

Dai Atlas says they won't allow the Destrons to trample across the Earth, but Predaking thinks he's full of himself. Dinosaurer starts fighting with Sonic Bomber, whilst Predaking goes after Dai Atlas.

Dai Atlas fires on Predaking, but Predaking tells him the likes of him and his guns have no effect on their armor! Predaking then attacks Dai Atlas with a sword. Meanwhile, Sonic Bomber transformers and rams into Dinosaurer, knocking him down.

Sonic Bomber shoots at Dinosaurer, but the latter just says that tickles. At the other fight, Devastor suddenly bursts out of the ground, and goes to drill Dai Atlas in the back. But Dai Atlas fires some smoke bombs. Predaking tells Devastor to go and get the zodiac.

Devastor drills into the ground, and heads downwards. Dai Atlas says he won't let him get the zodiac, and transforms. He heads after Devastor, and does a scan of the area. He reads a void 15,000 meters ahead of him, and he eventually drills into a cave.

As he starts exploring it, he gets an energy reading nearby. As he heads towards it, he realizes it's the zodiac! But Devastor then bursts out of the ground, and says he's found it. He grabs the zodiac and flies away.

Dai Atlas chases after him, but then King Poseidon appears, and throws a chain around him. Devastor grabs the chain and then throws the zodiac to King Poseidon, telling him to go on ahead.

Devastor tells Dai Atlas that he'll split his back open like a wind tunnel. Dai Atlas remembers that they're 15,000 meters underground, and scans something above him. He transforms and takes off, dragging Devastor with him.

He drills into the rocks above, and seconds later, a stream of lava pours out, which takes Devastor along with it and melts him.

Meanwhile, King Poseidon returns to the surface, as does Dai Atlas. Sonic Bomber starts shooting at King Poseidon, forcing him to drop the zodiac.

Predaking and Dinosaurer attempt to catch it, but their bumbling leads to them crashing into each other. Dai Atlas catches the zodiac, but Dinosaurer opens his mouth, revealing he has the energon Z inside it. He uses a new attack called the energon Z beam...

...which knocks Dai Atlas over. Dinosaurer looms over him and fires again, but Sonic Bomber gets in the way and takes the hit.

As the Destrons approach, Dai Atlas realizes this is a do or die situation. He lifts the zodiac above his head, and asks for the essence of Earth to grant them the power which created the universe! Dinosaurer fires again...

...and his beam breaks the zodiac energy open. It creates a bright light, and suddenly both Dai Atlas...

...and Sonic Bomber are able to transform into new base modes. The Destrons charge forward, but Dai Atlas and Sonic Bomber use their new zone mode attacks.

Dinosaurer and King Poseidon are blown away and destroyed. Predaking thinks this is impossible, their armor was meant to be invincible! The Powered Masters transform back to their robot modes, and Sonic Bomber thinks they've now got quite the amazing power.

Predaking attempts to fly away, but the Powered Masters go after him. Dai Atlas takes the wings off his back, and throws them at Predaking. They slice right through him, splitting him in half.

Predaking explodes seconds later. Later on, Cain asks what the zodiac is. Dai Atlas explains that it's the power that originally created the Earth and the galaxy. Akira says his father told him about the zodiac, as his father is a geophysicist.

Moonradar says when it comes to the universe and Transformers, he's well informed. Cain thinks the Earth is a beautiful planet, and Moonradar wants to hear more about it. Akira says he can do that, but he'd like to know more about the universe and Transformers. Moonradar says to leave those details to him. Emusa suggests that Akira comes to visit them on planet Zone.

Dai Atlas tells Akira he's more than welcome to, as long as he doesn't mind talking to everyone on Zone about Earth. Akira offers Cain and Emusa a flower, and says they should bring plenty of these from Earth as a souvenir.

Sometime later, a ceremony takes place on Zone. Victory Saber says that on behalf of all Cybertrons, he appoints the Powered Master Dai Atlas as the new Supreme Commander.

At the ceremony for the Cybertron's new Supreme Commander, Dai Atlas, he swore to himself that he would protect the universe from the evil Destrons, and to build a beautiful and peaceful paradise in the galaxy, working with his beloved friends.
