In the movie, the shot on the left is at a different angle. The storyboard wanted to show more of Unicron. The shot on the right was cut, but it is seen earlier in the movie -during Unicron's attack on Lithone.

The storyboards lack the shot of Unicron roaring in rage, after he realizes the Matrix has been passed on to Ultra Magnus.
