Synopsis

The Autobots leave Quintessa moments before it explodes, but some debris hits their ship and destroys it. The Autobots fall through space. Meanwhile, Blurr and Wheelie are on their way to Earth, only to be attacked by Galvatron. They are near an Earth Defense Command space platform, which tries to stop the Decepticons, but quickly gets destroyed by them.

Galvatron and the others head after Blurr and Wheelie's ship, which they damage enough to force the Autobots to eject. The Autobots end up crashing onto Io, as the Decepticons follow and attack them. Meanwhile, the Quintessons learn that the Autobots have survived, and decide they must acquire sheer might to wipe out the Autobots once and for all. To do that, they must form an alliance with the Decepticons, so they head to Chaar. Meanwhile, the Autobots crash onto Goo 8739B, a place covered with a sticky goo they can move through, but can't get out of.

Galvatron loses interest in the Autobots, and he and the Decepticons head to Chaar. Back on Goo, a large garbage ship is moving around, sucking up junk. Springer thinks it might be trying to help them, but the ship tears him to pieces! It looks like it's about to do the same thing to Rodimus, but he uses some of the goo to jam up one of its fans and causes it to crash.

The Quintessons arrive on Chaar and quickly convince most of the Decepticons to join forces by offering them energon. Almost all of the Decepticons board one of their ships, which heads off to Goo. Blitzwing, not wanting to trust the Quintessons for reasons he can't remember, opts to stay behind. As the Decepticons leave, Galvatron and the others arrive, where Blitzwing explains what's happened. Annoyed someone else is leading the Decepticons, Galvatron and his group head to Goo. At Goo, the Autobots think they've found a way to turn the goo off, but then the Quintesson ship arrives and the Decepticons pour out of it. As the Decepticons open fire on the Autobots, a Quintesson tells the others to mark this moment well, as when the Decepticons eliminate the Autobots, they take the first step toward their own destruction as well...

Notes

-As mentioned in the previous part, the ship the Autobots escape from Quintessa in is Broadside. But this ship gets totally destroyed in this episode! What I imagine happened was the script called for the Autobots to use some generic ship (something like one of the shuttles seen in the movie) but AKOM used Broadside in error. Broadside will appear alive and well in future episodes.

-Blitzwing seems to remember the Quintessons, but can't remember the exact details about them. It never gets revealed in the series how he knows them.

Errors

-After Magnus asks how they're going to get out of this mess, there's a scene transition and a background for Goo is shown. It should have been a background for Chaar.
-After Onslaught asks questions Cybertron's defenses, there's this shot of the Combaticons with a mini Bruticus behind them.
-During this shot there is a blue light effect with no Quintesson over it.
-Fireflight, one of the Aerialbots, is sat with the Decepticons during this shot.
-As Cyclonus tells Galvatron the Decepticons have fallen on hard times, one of the Sweeps is colored like Dirge.
-A few seconds after the above, there are then two Sweeps colored like Swindle and Soundwave. They can be seen in the shot after this one too.
-There are then more miscolored Sweeps during this shot.
-One of the Decepticons shown at the end of the episode is Shockwave, colored like one of the Constructicons.
