A revised scripted is available for this episode, which can be read in full at the Sunbow and Marvel Productions Script/Storyboard Archive. The original script was written on 07/11/1984, whilst Ron Friedman's revised script is dated 07/18/1984. This script is then dated as "FINAL" with a date of 07/27/84.
Unfortunately Ron used a pretty thick marker pen to cross out bits he changed, so it's often hard to tell what was there originally.
The script has a subtitle of "Brainwash".
In the episode, whilst you get to see the sheet of solar cells, you don't see the sun's rays bouncing off them.
In the original script, this read 30 units, the revised script added an extra zero to the number. However the animators still only put 30 instead of 300, creating an error.
Instead of tapping the instruments, the Maharaja is seen putting his hand on his chin.
The script states to use Skywarp here, but the animators drew Thundercracker in error (he still speaks with Skywarp's voice). Thundercracker is seen firing a laser in the episode, but the script wanted him to launch a missile.

SUNSTREAKER Ehhhh, I wish they were painted to match my base coat -they clash. |
Skywarp was supposed to punch the Maharaja's computer, then pick the Maharaja up. In the episode, he picks the Maharaja up first, then shoots the computer via a laser from his fist.
In the script, Skywarp was meant to throw the Maharaja out of the palace, but in the episode Optimus Prime uses a lasso to get the Maharaja before Skywarp can throw him.
This line was scripted for Skywarp, but in the episode, it's Starscream who says it.
The wider shot scripted here was cut from the episode.
The above was cut from the episode.
Ironhide's line here was cut.
This particular shot of Rumble wasn't in the script.
The script wanted Huffer to appear here, but in the episode he's absent. The script also implies the Autobots were meant to head out of their HQ, but in the episode they remain inside. Ironhide already has his arm sensor out in the episode, but in the script he was meant to bend down and place one of his arms on the ground.
The script stated that Rumble was to hang upside down from the ceiling, but the episode he's on the ground.
This was edited in the episode so Laserbeak's descent happens after Sparkplug's "Decepti-kitty" line. Teletraan's alarm isn't heard going off in the episode.
In the episode, this was cut down. As the alarm never goes off, you don't see the Autobots reacting to it. Spike never grabs Sparkplug's leg, and Laserbeak never needs to make a second attempt at grabbing Sparkplug. Bumblebee and Sideswipe are never seen attempting to grab Laserbeak.
In the episode, there is a panning shot here from right to left, showing all of the Autobots fighting the three Decepticons. Skywarp isn't seen with a communicator -the shot just focuses on him as he fires one of his arm lasers.

In the episode, Sparkplug doesn't reach for his neck, because he can't -he's still strapped in on the chair.
In the episode, Megatron laughs before saying this line, which wasn't in the script.
Sparkplug isn't seen doing this in the episode. Instead, we see this rather unflattering image of him.
The script mentions that Jazz should attach a "fin-jet-pack" here, but he's not seen doing so in the episode. The script states all the Autobots are meant to wear these things, but none of them seem to have them in the episode.
This dialogue between Spike and Optimus Prime was cut from the episode.
The script states Jazz and Wheeljack should be in the shot, but the animators replaced them with Gears and Hound.
The above scene was cut from the episode. It was scripted to happen before Wheeljack fires at Thundercracker.

The script is missing a line for Megatron here. In the episode, as he starts firing, he's heard saying "Attack! Spare no one!".
This shot of Megatron, Starscream and Skywarp wasn't in the script.

SPIKE Dad... please! |
The script is a bit clearer here than what the animation shows. The animation doesn't have the circuit board named, and Spike seemingly just drops the wrench in at random -the script states for him to drop it between two fuses.
In the episode, these lines were switched around.

OPTIMUS PRIME (CONT VO) Roll for it! |
The panning shot doesn't show Thundercracker or Soundwave at their devices. The dialogue between Starscream and Megatron was cut. It implies the writer made a mistake here, and should have listed Sparkplug at one of the devices, rather than Soundwave. This was corrected in the episode itself however, as Sparkplug is seen activating one of the pylons, rather than Soundwave.

MEGATRON (CONT) I never dreamed you'd let a few worthless flesh creatures stand in the way of attacking us! |
The script mentions nothing about the human slaves picking up rocks and other weapons as they charge towards the Autobots, but in the episode they are seen doing this.
This shot of Prowl gesturing Spike to move back wasn't in the script.
This was cut from the episode. It was scripted to happen right after Jazz's "not my scene" line.
In the episode, after Sparkplug says this line, it cuts to a shot of Spike. Spike's mouth moves, but no words come out. He isn't scripted to say anything here so it appears this was an error.
In the episode, this dialogue was switched around. Shockwave's scene happens after Sparkplug pushes Spike aside.

In the script, Megatron was supposed to activate the second pylon, and was meant to be fending off Prime whilst doing it. In the episode, however, Thundercracker is seen activating the seen activating the second pylon, without any issues.
Parts of Megatron and Prime's battle -such as Megatron kicking Prime in the head and making him fall, and later kicking him off, weren't in the script.
In the episode, Megatron gasps before saying this line.
