Bison's forces have taken a bunch of people hostage, but Guile comes to their rescue. Some soldiers shoot at him, but he avoids their fire and beats them down. But then one of the soldiers suddenly radiates with energy...

...and Guile watches as he transforms into Bison! Guile says he might have known, as Bison asks him if that's a way to greet an old friend. Guile tries to jump kick him, but he instead somehow phases right through him.

Bison asks him if he has the time, and when Guile checks his watch, the face of it starts to melt. Guile sees that time is running out to save the hostages, but then the hostages start to radiate with energy.

Bison suddenly explodes, and the hostages get sucked up via an unknown force, and turn into smoke. Guile then wakes up -it was all just a dream.

Guile goes to Escher, who asks if he's had more dreams. A voice then calls out telling Guile not to trust Escher. Guile turns around to see Bison standing behind him! Bison tells Guile to watch out.

Escher suddenly goes crazy, as he shoves his desk over and tells Guile that this friend Bison can't help him now. He tosses Guile aside and then transforms into a demonic werewolf, before creating some energy streams which wrap around Guile.

Escher says the Street Fighters have no more use for Guile, and he goes to bite him. Guile starts screaming no...

...but in reality all of this is also a dream. Guile has been captured by Bison, and is sat in a machine operated by doctor Murchesen. Bison is happy that the machine is wearing down Guile's prodigious resistance, and tells the doctor to continue.

Elsewhere, Chun-Li is up against a large opponent who she defeats by knocking him over with a low kick, then finishing him off with a spinning bird kick. The crowd all cheer for her.

But later on she goes outside to meet El Fideo. He wants to celebrate her victory, but she tells him not seeing his face again is enough to make her night. They had a deal, and El Fideo says that's quite right. As she beat her best man, he will provide her with the information she seeks. He tells her to wait at her hotel. Chun-Li goes to her hotel room, but after taking a shower, she notices a book on a table. She picks it up and a slip of paper falls out.

The slip states that the book is the first of a rare trilogy, and she must come in now and enjoy its companion volumes "Justice" and "Commitment". She realizes what this means, and that is also means she can't keep her appointment with El Fideo. She later heads to a library, where she finds the other two volumes. She pulls them down together, and this causes a bookshelf to turn, revealing a secret passage.

She soon finds Escher, who thanks her for coming. She's curious as to why Escher has called her directly, as usually he contacts Guile, and then he contacts her. Escher explains that Guile has been captured by Bison. Chun-Li thinks that can't be, but then Dee Jay appears and confirms it happened, as he was there. He and Guile had just finished their match, and had gone off to meet some friends of his.

But when they reached the docks, a bunch of crates got pushed onto them. When they got up, they saw Bison, Zangief and a couple of other thugs there. Bison said how careless of him -how could he ever make it up to them?

Guile told him to fall off a cliff and ran towards him, but got grabbed by Zangief. Bison told him he'd hate to do that, now that they've become "friends". Dee Jay started to fight off several guys, and Guile threw Zangief.

But Bison then hit Guile with a blast of energy that put him into a comatose state. Dee Jay ran towards them, but got blasted by Bison.

Bison told him to go and run back to this friends, and tell them he had Guile. He and the others then left with Guile. Back in the present, Dee Jay says they took Guile, and he just laid down like a good for nothing. Escher tells him that they're all anxious to help Guile, but there are also practical reasons they must find him immediately.

Escher says Guile knows too much about their operation. Chun-Li gets angered by this comment, as she thinks that Bison has Guile, but all Escher cares about is their operation? Dee Jay tells her easy now, but she says she'll take it easy when Guile's safe.

At Bison's base, Bison asks Guile how is he liking his first day at school -is he making new friends? Guile asks him what he wants -his lunch money? Bison has the doctor turn the power up higher, as he wants Guile to learn quickly, if he wishes to live.

Elsewhere, Ryu and Ken are in trouble. Ryu asks Ken to remind him again on how this was supposed to go, and Ken says they grab the map to the pharaoh's tomb, then El Fideo pays them for it. But Ryu says it looks like El Fideo's guys want an early delivery. A group of men, with their guns drawn, move towards them. Ryu and Ken each throw out a hadouken, taking two of the guys out.

They then use their hurricane kicks, but whilst Ryu takes down another couple of guys, Ken gets shot in the back. As he gets back up, Ryu suggests they should just give them the map. Ken thinks he's nuts, as they're talking about a pharaoh's lost tomb!

As the fighting resumes, Ryu asks Ken if he has a better plan. Ken says sure, but then can't think of anything and gets kicked. But then, Dee Jay and Chun-Li appear above and drop down.

They quickly take down a couple of guys, and the bad guys decide to get out of there. Ken thanks then, but then says they'll be on their way now. Chun-Li tells him that they need his help, but Ken suggests he can help them later in the week.

Ryu grabs him and says they'll stay, as they helped them when they were in trouble. Chun-Li says that Guile has been captured by Bison. Ryu says to count him in, but Ken is still reluctant. Chun-Li says it's funny that Ken always forgets the Street Fighter code when it suits him. Ken pretends to not know about the code.

A voice then tells him that perhaps he should learn it. Everybody sees some other guy has appeared, but it's actually Blanka in disguise. He tells Chun-Li he received her message about Guile, but Dee Jay wonders how he was able to find them in this alley. Chun-Li says they'll have time for cookies and gossip later, as now they need to find William Guile.

Meanwhile, Guile is having another dream, and has become a kid again. He watches as some other kid gets chased by three kids on bikes, but he tells them to stop and leave him alone. They shouldn't pick on little kids. The lead bully decides they should be picking on Guile instead, and chase after him. Guile runs off and hides behind a fence, but then his mother calls out to him, telling him to come home right now.

This gives his location away, and the bullies find him. He gets beaten up, and later on returns home. As he walks towards the front door, he says how this is just not right. In Bison's lab, Guile says the same thing.

Bison watches and tells the doctor he went too far back. He wants him to find someone Guile cares about, find his Achilles' heel. The doctor turns the power up again, and Guile has a dream about him training with his father. His father tells him he can do anything if he tries hard enough.

This still isn't what Bison wants, and he tells the doctor he'll make him a subject of one of his genetic experiments if he doesn't find him a painful core memory of Guile's. The doctor turns the power up again, with it getting close to the danger level, and Guile dreams about his days in the army.

He visits Lucinda and presents her with some flowers, which she accepts. He is seen dating her, but then the next thing that happens is her leaving him. Guile holds an official notice in his hand, stating he is being court marshaled, and it is effective immediately.

Lucinda leaves without saying a word. In Bison's base, Guile says he won't let them get Cindy, and Bison realizes that's it.

Elsewhere, the Street Fighters meet up with Honda. Honda has been looking into unusual movements in the area where Guile last was, and he has found that a large number of shipments of high-tec equipment have recently been smuggled to doctor Murchesen. It turns out that this doctor was criticized for his research into the human brain, but it seems many of his subjects did not live to file their malpractice suits. It's taken him several hours, but he's managed to hack in and access Murchesen's heavily protected database. He's found a file called "Fallen Eagle", which Blanka believes is an arrogant reference to Guile. Honda then exclaims that they're trying to lock him out.

A few seconds later his laptop explodes, but he was able to get the co-ordinates. Guile is on an island in the Adriatic Sea. He passes the paper to Chun-Li, who says they're on their way.

Meanwhile, Guile is having another dream. This time, he watches as Escher tells Lucinda that Guile is a traitor, and he has proof. Lucinda can't believe it, but Escher asks her how can she care for that criminal, as it's him who she loves! Guile charges and calls him a liar, but Escher kicks him away. He laughs and takes Lucinda away with him.

Guile suddenly finds himself surrounded by a group of Street Fighters, who all start calling him a traitor. Guile exclaims that that's not true, but Dee Jay tells him his woman Cindy be better off without him mon. Chun-Li asks how could Cindy possible love him? He gets up and goes to attack them, but the Street Fighters all grow in size.

They start shoving him around, all whilst continuing to call him a traitor. Blanka throws him aside, but then he gets aided by an unusual ally: Bison! He tells Guile let him help him. Guile says the Street Fighters betrayed him, but Bison says they'll defeat them together, and get Cindy back.

Guile thanks his friend, as they walk into a house... which explodes and becomes a massive monster!

Guile then has another dream, this time he and Bison are in an unknown location. Suddenly, demonic versions of Blanka and Chun-Li burst out of the ground and attack Guile.

Meanwhile, Cammy is piloting a jet with the Street Fighter team in it, and says they have arrived at the isle of Pescara. Chun-Li looks at a map and says the lab is in the center of the island. They'll have to parachute in, disable an alarmed fence, and fight their way through to get Guile. Blanka hopes that if fate is kind to them, they'll also encounter Bison as well.

In the lab, Guile is awake, and Bison asks him how he is feeling. Guile says he is confused, but Bison says they got him out just in time, as the Street Fighters nearly killed him. He says he has something to show him, and leads him into a room which has Blanka and Chun-Li in it. Guile goes berserk and attacks them, but they turn out to be robot duplicates.

Meanwhile, the real Blanka uses his electricity to take out part of the fence, letting him and the rest of the team inside the lab's grounds. They take out the guards and get the front door opened. Blanka says he can sense that Guile is near.

But he can also feels that they are being watched. Bison says they're being more than watched, they're being manipulated. He starts closing some doors, and manages to split the team up so Ryu and Ken are together, Chun-Li is by herself, and Dee Jay and Blanka are together. Ken complains to Ryu that this is all because he wanted to help, they should be out getting rich tonight. Ryu tells him riches without honor is its own poverty.

Another door opens, and they are attacked by a bunch of Bison's genetic experiments. Meanwhile Bison leads Chun-Li to the room Guile is in. She sees Guile and asks if he's alright, but Bison warns him that she is here to destroy him.

He turns around and starts fighting her. She doesn't try to fight back and asks if he knows her, but he calls her a backstabber. He throws out a sonic boom at her, and she gets launched into a wall. He then tells her that she'll be the first to pay for betraying him.

Meanwhile Dee Jay and Blanka come face to face with some mutants. Dee Jay throws out a projectile which takes down one, whilst Blanka uses his electricity to defeat another.

Guile continues his attack, but Chun-Li throws him to the floor. She tells him to look at her, as she's here to help him. He thinks she's lying, so she tells him to think: they're both Street Fighters, and he is her friend. Bison has corrupted his mind. Guile says Bison care about him. Meanwhile, Ryu and Ken continue fighting the mutants...

...but then Dee Jay and Blanka break a wall down and help them finish them off. Ken thanks them, although he doesn't really think they need them or anything. Blanka says it looks like Chun-Li does need them, and they head off.

Guile is still fighting Chun-Li, and she tries to convince him that they wouldn't hurt him. She tells him the Street Fighters wouldn't betray him, and he needs to remember what they mean to each other. As Blanka destroys another wall, Chun-Li starts stating the Street Fighter code: discipline, justice, commitment.

This seems to get Guile to remember something, and Chun-Li says it again. Blanka then says it and tells Guile he used to know a guy who that meant a lot to. Guile recognizes Blanka and Chun-Li tells him that they're all here. Guile finally snaps out of Bison's brainwashing.

Bison has seen what has happened, and blames the doctor for losing Guile. He tells him he'd better pray his failure doesn't leave the building alive, and then starts the base's self-destruct sequence. The Street Fighters quickly leave, seconds before the building explodes.

They then also see a jet take off and head away, and Blanka says there goes Bison. The Street Fighters return home on their jet, and Ken says that one of those mutants they fought looked a bit like that girlfriend of Ryu's from Osaka.

As most get a laugh out of that, Guile tells Chun-Li that he had him... Bison made him feel things that he never wanted to feel again. One more hour and he would have told Bison anything he asked. Chun-Li tells him anybody would have. The Street Fighters are his family, and he was able to hang on so long because deep down, he knew they'd be there for him. Guile tells her she's right. Ken then asks Guile that before he starts bawling on them, how about buying them some dinner? Guile asks Chun-Li to remind him: they're not family, right?
