The Destron Headmaster Juniors are in a bar. Cancer is playing an arcade racing game, Bullhorn is eating and Wilder is reading an Formula 1 magazine. He tells the others to come over here as he tells them about an article he has read. It mentions a retired F1 racer called Germain, who was the first person to ever win five consecutive seasons. His secret was his reliable racing car. They read that this car survived many crashes without damage -Wilder thinks it could be a Godmaster's transtector! If this car can survive explosions and crashes without taking damage, it must be. Wilder says the car should be in France, so that's where they are going to go.

At the Rouen circuit in France, Lightfoot and the Cybertron Headmaster Juniors have arrived. Shuuta thinks that seeing an F1 race in person is the greatest. Lightfoot has invited them out here as his company, British Motors, has a car in this race, driven by a guy called Carl. Whilst Carl is good, Lightfoot says that he is no match for the current champion, Road King.

Since there is still some time before the race starts, Lightfoot says he'll introduce them to Road King. He takes them over to where he is, as he does some last minute checks on his car. He sees them and asks what brings them here.

Lightfoot knows it is rude to do this just before a race, but this is a rare opportunity for them. Shuuta asks for an autograph, so Road King signs his shirt. Cab wants an autograph also -but on his chest! Meanwhile, Ranger is in the mountains of Spain, searching for the fourth Godmaster...

...whilst Ginrai is also searching, but in West Germany. Back in France, the lights go green and the race begins.

Carl leads the pack after the first few laps, with Road King not far behind him. Shuuta thinks Carl is awesome.

Meanwhile, the Destron Headmaster Juniors are heading towards a town. They decide to leave their transtector out of sight for now, and put them in a forest. They then head into the town and come across "Restaurant Germain". They know that this is the place they are looking for.

They head inside and find that the guy who runs the place is Germain. Wilder wants to see his miracle machine, but Germain wants to know who they are. Wilder says that's none of his business and they just want to see the car. Germain says that car is not here, but even if it was, he wouldn't show it to people he doesn't know. Wilder slams his fist on the bar, and Germain says young people can be such a nuisance. Wilder grabs him and asks if he'd care to repeat that statement, but Germain gets him in an arm lock.

He says he can't have them disturbing the other customer's enjoyment and escorts them off the premises. After releasing Wilder, Germain is attacked by Bullhorn, but he avoids his punch and throws him.

Cancer then does a flying kick which Germain blocks. He warns them that he'll call the police if they continue to be violent. Wilder says that because of him, this entire town shall soon be destroyed, and he'll be sorry. He and the others then leave.

In the forest, Bullhorn asks if they are really going to destroy the town. Wilder says they will, as they need to find that car of Germain's. As well as their own Transtectors, Wilder has got some Seacons to back them up should the Cybertrons come. Back at the circuit, the race is coming to a close - Road King is in the lead, and has lapped almost everyone. But there is then trouble as one car crashes into another...

...causing a huge pile up. As Road King approaches it, his car hits another and is sent flying into the air before crashing back down. Carl fails to avoid another crashed car, sending his vehicle out of control.

He manages to get out of it and leap away before it explodes. Lightfoot watches Road King, who has got his car back in control, but the front wing and front left tyre have taken bad damage. But Lightfoot sees that the damage repairs itself!

Road King is soon at full speed again. Lightfoot says their search if over and contacts Ginrai. Ginrai says he's on his way and will be with them soon. Meanwhile, the Destron Headmaster Juniors approach the town. Wilder says they can just destroy everything.

Road King wins the race. Later on, Ginrai arrives and Lightfoot explains who he is. Ginrai apologises to spring this on him, but requests for him to try putting these bracelets on. They'll find out if he's a Godmaster or not. Road King wants to know what exactly a Godmaster is, but Ginrai asks for him to hurry.

Road King does as he's told, and seconds after he puts the Master-braces on, his arms cross themselves -and he is given a suit of armor!

Ginrai tells him to get in his car and say "Transform, God on". Road King does this straight away without question, and when he does, he merges with his car to transform into a robot. He is the fourth Cybertron Godmaster!

Lightfoot explains how he can change back and Road King is soon back to his human form again. He thinks the whole thing is strange, and he had no idea his car had this kind of power. His sponsor gave it to him three years a go. It was back when his racing career was in a slump. He met someone who encouraged him and got him back to his usual winning self. He even gave him this machine.

He is about to explain who this person is when Ginrai gets a call from Ranger. They find out that the Destrons brats are attacking the town of Dagneux! Ginrai says they are on their way, but Road King is one step ahead of him and is already in his car. Meanwhile, the Destrons are causing large amounts of damage to the town.

Ranger is fighting them there, but Wilder sees Road King heading towards Germain's place. He thinks that Road King is in the car they are after, so he, Bullhorn and Wilder stop fighting and go after him. As the other Cybertrons arrive, Ranger tells them that the Destrons suddenly all went off in the same direction. Ginrai tells Ranger about Road King, they new comrade.

Road King reaches Germain's restaurant before the Destrons, and is glad to see that Germain is alright. Germain wonders what he is so worried about, so Road King mentions that the Destrons are attacking nearby. But they then turn around to see that the Destrons are right behind them. Road King jumps in front of his car and tells them to get away from it.

They transform into their robot modes, as Road King uses the Masterforce to transform into his new robot mode. The Destrons attack him, and Bullhorn lands a hit, but Road King quickly recovers and takes them down.

The other Cybertrons arrive to help, so Wilder has his Seacon reinforcements appear. Turtler leads the attack, but his forces are easily destroyed by the Cybertrons.

Road King continues to batter the Destron Headmasters, whilst Turtler is stopped when Ginrai grabs him by his guns and throws him to the floor. Turtler wants to unite into King Poseidon, only to find that there are only two Tentakils left alive, so they can't. Wilder knows it is over and orders for a retreat.

Later on, the Cybertrons meet Germain, who Road King says is his sponsor. He finds this whole thing about the car being a Transformer quite surprising. The four Cybertron Godmasters are now finally assembled. Can anyone stand up to them?

NOTES

The preview for this episode -which was shown at the end of the previous episode -has an interesting little difference. In the preview, when Carl's car explodes, Carl is still leaping away from it. In the actual episode however, it was changed so Carl had already leaped before the explosion happens.

Many if the sponsor's signs shown on the cars and around the track are references to real companies, just with the words spelt wrong. Examples include "Camon" (Canon), "Dunpop" (Dunlop) and "Totus" (Lotus).
