Two pilots are flying their plane towards the place where a "mysterious island" has appeared. This island is actually the Destron base -and as they fly towards it, Giga is playing golf. He lines up his shot and takes it.
He hits the ball straight into the plane, which causes it to explode. Buster congratulates him on his splendid shot, whilst Mega says it is all over when the death ball gets them. Just like a snake staring at a frog. They head back inside, where Giga says it is inconceivable for the Cybertrons to have obtained a Godmaster. Which side a Godmaster fights for is decided when the transtector bonds with a human. So if a transtector falls into the hands of the Cybertrons, a new Cybertron warrior is born.
Giga wants to destroy the Cybertron Godmaster, and as Hydra and Buster have seen him, they say they will beat him into hell. Giga tells them he does not want them to failure, and walks off. Mega gives the brothers a box, which is full of deathballs.
At the Ocean Research Institute of California, Lander shows up and impresses Ginrai when he transforms. Changing to his Pretender shell, he has a present and Diver is happy to accept a bottle of Robert Mondavi wine. As Diver goes to chill it, Ginrai asks what business Lander has with him. Lander puts a book on the table.
The book contains snippets from newspapers, which are about Destron attacks. Lander really wants Ginrai to join with them, as the transtector he has is very powerful. It is essential for the protection of world peace. Ginrai says he feels pretty lucky about getting it, and he figures he's going to charge ridiculous amounts for his television appearances. He'll make a huge profit! Lander can't believe he's serious.
Turns out he's not serious, but walks out of the room and goes to help Diver feed some fish. Lander follows him, and begs him in the name of peace -can he join the Cybert-
"WAIT! Wait, wait, wait! Oh wait, just a moment please!"

Ginrai says that Lander's "Sake of the world" speech is his weak point. He doesn't want to join the Cybertrons, but promises to fight the Destrons whenever they appear. Lander asks how they are suppose to contact him, but Ginrai says that taking orders and command structure isn't his type of thing. A trucker's first rule is to go where the wind blows and where his heart resides. And he's got a job to do, so he'll see them around. As he gets into his truck and drives off, Diver thinks that Ginrai isn't completely hopeless and they'll just have to keep trying to convince him to join. Hopefully without making him get too fed up of them.
In Japan, Shuuta and the others are enjoying some bananas when Cab's parrot crashes through the window. Cab starts yelling at his pet for making so much noise in front of a lady, but then Hawk walks in. He says he wanted to see this place and says it looks nice. But the real reason he's here is to talk to them about a new team member. A guy older than them, who has amazing powers -he is a Godmaster! Whilst they are still trying to get him to join, Hawk believes he will join the Cybertrons. This raises the Headmaster Junior's spirits.
In America, two truckers are out on the road when suddenly a plane passes right over them! Buster has appeared, and he fires a deathball at their truck. It hits the cab and explodes, destroying the entire truck.
Ginrai is at a gas station where another trucker he knows pulls up. His name is Billy and he's almost finished for the day, and since Ginrai has finished already, the two arrange to have drinks later on. Ginrai wants to talk about his amazing new truck, but then thinks it might not be such a good idea. He lets Billy move out.
Billy comes to a stop at some lights, when he sees a large truck move in behind him. As the lights change, Billy puts his foot down, but the large truck starts to chase after him and then starts to ram the back of his vehicle!
Billy tries to ram on the brakes, just as his truck is coming up to a level crossing. But the larger truck rams into him and pushes him forward at a high speed. Billy's truck crashes through the barrier and loses control, falling over and exploding. In the larger truck...
"Looks like I got the wrong one again."
Ginrai is at the diner and orders his usual, when he sees that some other truckers look really glum. A news report comes on and Ginrai is devastated when he finds out that Billy has been killed in a crash! One of the other truckers mentions that Billy is the fifth trucker killed recently. Ginrai grabs the guy and asks for more info, and finds out that five people in their line of work have been killed recently.
At the research institute, Diver and Lander are watching the same news report, and hear that two jets were seen flying around some of the crash sites. They realises that the Destrons must be going after Ginrai, and are attacking red trucks. Lander contacts Hawk, whilst Diver contacts Phoenix. Hawk says he's on his way and tells the Headmaster Juniors to stay and watch the base. Meanwhile, Lander and Diver head to the diner, where a couple of truckers tell them that Ginrai has left already.
Lander thinks Ginrai could do something reckless, so they have to find him quickly. Lander transforms to his vehicle mode, and Diver gets a ride from him. Meanwhile, Ginrai is in a motel, thinking about what has happened. He has found out some more of his friends have been killed, and it must have been work of the Destrons. Ginrai runs outside, gets into his truck, and rolls out.
Later on, Ginrai is trying to lure the Destrons out. He has a picture of his friends on the dashboard, and he wants the Destrons to show themselves so he can avenge them. Soon enough, Hydra's truck appears. Ginrai goes on the offensive, bashing into the side of it, but the large size of the other truck makes it difficult for him to do any damage.
Hydra starts to fight back, and crumples up part of Ginrai's transector real good. But as Ginrai comes to a stop, the truck repairs itself. Hydra now knows that the truck in front of him is indeed the Cybertron Godmaster he has been searching for. Ginrai goes to charge into him, but Buster appears and fires a deathball.
The deathball hits Ginrai's truck, causing him to lose control and drive off the cliff backwards. Hydra and Buster are surprised to see that Ginrai is still alive, and also see that a couple of Cybertron Pretenders have appeared. Buster tells his brother that he'll deal with the Cybertrons, whilst he can finish off the Godmaster.
Hydra transforms and tells Ginrai that this will be the end of him. Meanwhile Buster uses his Choukon power to prevent Diver or Lander from getting to Ginrai.
Ginrai looks at the picture of his friends, and then tells Hydra that he'll never forgive them. Hydra thinks he's found the will to fight, and Ginrai is ready to take him on. Crossing his Master-braces above his head, he shouts out the magic word:
HENSHIN!
(Transform!)
"?!?!?!"
Diver thoughtfully points out that he needs to say "Masterforce". Ginrai says the correct word, and merges with his transtector to become a robot. Hydra thinks he now finally has the will to fight.
Ginrai starts throwing out some punches, but Hydra thinks he is an amateur and counters one of his moves with a throw. Ginrai crashes into a wall, as Hydra just laughs. As Ginrai gets up, the picture he had happens to fall down behind him a little, shining a bright light reflected from the sun...
...straight into Hydra's face. Ginrai uses this opportunity to ram into him, push him all the way back to another wall and then start punching him in the face a lot as he avenges his friends.
Just as Metalhawk and Phoenix arrive, Buster sees his brother is in trouble and decides to help him. Lander tells Ginrai to watch out, and as he turns around, Hydra jumps away. Buster releases a barrage of deathballs with blow Ginrai away, whilst Hydra and Buster take to the skies. They decide to withdraw for today.
Ginrai says he is alright, as Diver tells him not to overdo it. Lander says they always have to be careful when fighting the Godmaster brothers. The Headmaster Juniors then show up -Metalhawk reminds them he said they needed to stay at the base, but they all had to come here as they are excited to meet their new teammate.
Hawk finds Ginrai and says that he had some wonderful friends, but could they replace the ones he's lost? Ginrai says he feels pretty down right now, so he'll think it over. Right now, he'll never forgive the Destrons for killing Billy and the others, that's all. Whilst he is upset now, the time will come where Ginrai's fiery rage will burn away the Destrons once and for all.
