Jan has his troops open fire, but Walter slices them up. He says the ghouls are a little on the slow side, and whilst in theory they're meant to be threatening, they're certainly not indestructible. Walter tells Jan he should piss himself, and then pray to his God.
Jan laughs and says this is great, as plowing through all of Hellsing's troops was really starting to bore him. He has more ghouls with shields surround him, but Walter calls upon Seras. She's waiting behind him and fires a couple of shots from her new Harkonnen cannon. Jan makes it out of the way in time, but none of his ghouls do.
With no other option, Jan fights Walter. He tries to kick him and then fires his assault rifle, but Walter avoids his attacks and gets a wire onto one of Jan's rings, ripping it off. Jan is about to fire again when Seras moves in and takes Jan down, getting him into a hold. Jan tells her to get off, he's supposed to be the one on top.
Walter is quite impressed with the hold Seras used, and she tells him it was something she learnt when she was a police officer. He then wants some answers and persuades Jan to talk by crushing one of his hands. Jan says that they were just following orders, and that they were to enter the Hellsing HQ and kill everyone inside it. Then they were to confirm the deaths of the members of the round table along with Alucard. Walter realizes that Jan isn't the only one in charge and Jan says that's right, as big brother Valentine is downstairs turning Alucard into a carpet stain.
Luke tells Alucard that he's heard his name quite a lot, and that people tell stories of his amazing strength, how he glides over an ocean of blood. Now he'll see if there is anything more to him than just rumor. When he was human, he feared Alucard, or at least the stories about him. But now he's become a vampire, he's started to admire him, he was the first great pioneer of immortality. Alucard thinks he's a fool, and that there is no such thing as an immortal. Luke says he knows, and once he has Alucard's head on a stick, everyone else will know it. Within a second Luke has a gun at Alucard's head, but Alucard has the Jackal pointed as Luke's face.
They fire at the same time, but neither of them die. Luke pulls out another gun and starts firing, as Alucard, who isn't even looking at him, fires back. Using his incredible speed, Luke dodges around Alucard's bullets and keeps firing, landing several hits.
Some of the Alucard's bullets cause an explosion, and Luke is surprised that just a pistol could do that. As Alucard compliments Luke's reflexes, Luke says that he has all of the powers Alucard has and more. Alucard mockingly whistles.
Jan boasts that he and his brother designed just to kill them. Walter then hears something and Jan uses this distraction to knock Seras back. He opens up a door and reveals more ghouls waiting for him.
But these ghouls are former Hellsing soldiers. Jan wants to get the party started, and leaps over Walter. He runs towards the conference room, and he keeps running even after Walter uses his wire to cut off one of his arms. He opens the door...
...and finds that the people he's meant to kill are armed themselves. They fire again and again on him, badly injuring him. Integra then sees what is going on at the bottom of the corridor.
As Luke and Alucard continue to fight, Luke sees that Alucard isn't even trying to dodge his bullets. But he still thinks everything has a breaking point, and he can win this. Alucard has taken far more damage than him. Alucard says he hasn't had this much fun in ages and that it's obvious Luke's powers are beyond even the highest category of vampire. Alucard then releases his control art restrictions three, two, one. Stating that this is "Situation A", and that the Cromwell approval is now in effect, his restrictions have been lifted for limited use until his enemy has been silenced.
Luke finds himself surrounded by eyes, which all stare at him. Alucard has changed his form, and he tells him that it's time he showed him how a real vampire does battle. Changing into a dog, Alucard lunges at Luke. This change causes Luke to scream in fear, and he starts to run away.
Out of the dog's mouth comes one of Alucard's arms, along with the Jackal. A couple of shots later and Luke can no longer run, as his legs have been shot off. Alucard tells him that he's only lost his legs, he should get back up, and attack. He should summon his familiars, transform his body, heal his legs and stand. Hurry and fight back!
Luke screams that Alucard is a monster. Alucard changes to his human form and says that he now sees Luke for what he really is: pathetic. Luke tells him to shut up, he's just the Hellsing family pet, a dog for the church of England. Alucard says that if he's a dog, then it must make Luke dog food. Changing his form again, Alucard lunges towards Luke and consumes him. With him out of the way, Alucard says he regrets overestimating him. As a vampire he was nothing but shit, now he's just a pile of dog shit.
Back upstairs, the ghouls attack Seras and she eventually fights back, her eyes going red and she loses control of herself. She starts to violently wipe out the ghouls, until Integra runs over and stops her. She hugs Seras and tells her that she's done enough. Walter throws Jan into a wall and tells him that it's all over. He'll put him out of his misery once he tells him who put them up to this.
Integra wants some answers and shoots Jan a couple more times. He says that the ones who told him to do this are the same as the ones who put the chip inside him. That chip relays everything to them, and they'll know that he's messed this up. And they'll know that he is about to die and will tell Hellsing everything. There's no way they'll let him live. And sure enough, Jan suddenly explodes into blue flames.
Since he knows he's about to die, Jan gives them one clue they can shove up their ass. As he gives the finger, he tells them to beware the Millennium. He then crumbles into dust. Integra doesn't know what that was meant to mean, but then asks Walter to put the remaining ghouls out of their misery.
Sir Irons than appears and tells Walter to stop. The responsibility of mercy killings must fall to the leader, and he passes Integra a gun. This situation could have been prevented, and Integra's lack of preparation was an offence. It was her fault. Walter tries to intervene but Integra stops him, and takes the gun. She tells her deceased troops that she doesn't ask for their forgiveness, this is her burden. She pulls the trigger. Sir Irons tells Walter to look into this "Millennium", as they are going to see that they pay for what they have done today.
Sometime later, after things have been cleaned up at the Hellsing HQ, Walter says that of the 96 members of their organization, only 10 are left. 8 of them only survived because they were away at the time of the attack. The other 2 are himself and her, and he hasn't counted Alucard and Seras since they're already dead. Integra asks about Millennium. Walter says that he has had extensive research put into them, but has come up with nothing. They've found out about seven groups dedicated to occult and military studies in America, Japan and France, and one Star Wars group in Los Angeles -since the Millennium Falcon is the name of Han Solo's ship.
Integra sees that what Walter is telling her is that they've got no solid leads at all. Walter apologizes and says the only thing they know is that it means a span of a 1,000 years. Integra says that could mean something, doesn't he remember? The empire of the Mlillenium...the order that wanted the glory of the 1,000 year kingdom and plunged the planet into a world war. Hitler's Germany -the Millennium order of the Third Reich!
