Integra Hellsing hides from her uncle, Richard. Richard is looking for her so he can kill her -he's not happy his brother made her the grand successor to the Hellsing organization. He'd been waiting 20 years for his brother and her father to die, and then mere hours before his death he chose her to succeed him as head of the family. |

![]()

![]()

Richard says he can't accept such an insult, and thinks it was an unforgivable act of betrayal... Hellsing is his! Integra runs, and recalls what her father once told her... |

![]()

![]()

...he said that if the time ever comes, and all other hope is lost, she must go to the last cell of the deepest dungeon of the estate. There lies one of the darkest legacies of their family, and it'll be the instrument of her salvation. Integra runs to the dungeon, and opens the doors. But all she finds is a corpse. |

![]()

![]()

She wonders how a corpse can be her salvation, but Richard and some men then enter the room. Richard shoots Integra, and the bullet grazes her arm. |

![]()

![]()

Some of the blood hits the corpse. Integra can't believe her uncle is willing to do this, but he points the gun at her head and prepares to fire. |

![]()

![]()

But they then hear something, and see that the corpse has come to life. It's licking up the blood, and then breaks free from its bindings... |

In the town of Cheddar, England, some police head to a church. They open the doors and start looking around, but they come across a gruesome sight: the priest is drinking the blood of a woman. |

![]()

![]()

The priest waves his hand, and hordes of the undead move in. The police are attacked. |

![]()

![]()

Nearby, the chief of the police force in the area is surprised at the arrival of Integra. He asks her to repeat herself one more time. Integra says that the village of Cheddar has become a den of ghouls. A ghoul is what happens to non-virgin humans when they're bitten by a vampire. They're much like zombies under the control of a vampire, which means that there is a vampire somewhere in Cheddar. |

![]()

![]()

The police chief thinks this is ridiculous, but Integra says he shouldn't dare question her credentials. Her butler, Walter, passes her a cigar. She says that the Hellsing organization has been defending the British empire from such monsters for generations. Her organization is a special operations agency charged by the Queen to find and eradicate all supernatural and satanic threats to the church and crown. |

![]()

![]()

She says that somewhere in Cheddar is a vampire, who is controlling the ghouls. The police can send in everyone they want, the result will be the same. Or it could be worse -when a vampire drinks from a virgin of the opposite sex, a new vampire is created. Otherwise, the dead will become food, and join the legions of the vampire's ghouls. |

![]()

![]()

The police then lose contact with two squads. Integra says if they want to stop the ghouls from multiplying, they need to terminate that vampire at the source, which is where Hellsing comes in. They'll take care of the vampire, and one of their finest anti-vampire agents is already on the way to Cheddar. The police chief asks what kind of agent could handle this, and Integra tells him that when dealing with monsters, especially vampires, there's no greater expert than this agent. |

![]()

![]()

Elsewhere, police girl Seras Victoria runs for her life. But she gets surrounded by ghouls, and then the vampire priest appears. He tells her there's no use running, so she shoots at him. But he suddenly appears right before her, and says guns won't help either. As he starts groping her... |

![]()

![]()

...she notices that the two others who were with her at the church have become ghouls. The priest says her boyfriends belong to him now, and soon so shall she. She shoots him in the head, but he just laughs and says he looks for loyalty in his servants. He wouldn't want a vampire with free will running around. |

![]()

![]()

He wishes he could find a virgin as lovely as her, but then states he's going to violate her, drain her blood slowly, and then she can join with the rest of his ghouls. Seras screams, at which point the agent arrives: Alucard. The priest asks who he is, and Alucard tells him he is his death. |

![]()

![]()

The priest thinks this is pathetic, and instructs his ghouls to kill Alucard. They open fire, seemingly ripping Alucard apart. The priest asks him if that's the best he's got, and starts laughing. |

![]()

![]()

But Alucard then starts to revive. Integra tells the police chief that her agent is a vampire. Humans make poor vampire killers, due to them being frail, mortal and corruptible in body, mind and soul. The most effective weapon against a vampire is another, more powerful vampire. The vampire the Hellsing organization has has power beyond imagination. |

![]()

![]()

The revived Alucard pulls out a gun, and starts firing. Within seconds, all of the priest's ghouls are blown away. He doesn't understand how this is happening, and realizes it must be something to do with the bullets fired. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard says that the silver cross in Manchester Cathedral was melted down to make these 13 millimeter explosive shells. Nothing he shoots ever gets back up again! The priest asks why Alucard fights to save these pathetic humans. He sees Seras, and decides to take her hostage. He warns Alucard not to take another step, as this girl is the last survivor. Surely Alucard wants to save her? He wants Alucard to just help him out and look the other way. Alucard asks Seras if she's a virgin. The priest asks what he's doing, but Alucard tells Seras to answer him. |

![]()

![]()

Seas says she is, so Alucard immediately fires. His shot hits Seras, but goes through her and hits the priest. Alucard then rushes over to finish things off. |

![]()

![]()

Back in the past, Integra shoots Richard, killing him. She asks the vampire for his name. The vampire, who refers to Integra as his master, says her father called him Alucard. |

![]()

![]()

Back in the present, the priest turns to dust. Alucard tells Seras he's sorry, but he had to shoot through her to pierce the priest's heart. She's now dying, and there's no time left. He tells her the choice is hers... what does she want to do? |

![]()

![]()

Seras experiences a flashback to a tragic event in her youth. She raises his hand, and Alucard catches it as it falls. He tells the police girl that tonight is truly a beautiful night. |

![]()

![]()

Seras suddenly wakes up, and wonders where she is. A bunch of ghouls burst out of the ground, and upon realizing she's a police girl, chase after her. Seras runs, but then bumps into Alucard. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard asks her what it feels like to be dead... but still, the choice was all hers to walk the path of the draculina. He leans forward, and is about to suck her blood... |

![]()

![]()

Seras then wakes up, and is relieved to see that her chest wound is gone. But then Alucard suddenly appears, causing her to freak out. He asks the police girl how she feels, now that she's a vampire. Seras checks a mirror, and realizes she's now got fangs. |

![]()

![]()

As she screams, Integra tells the police girl that she's too loud. Even if she is a vampire now, she's still English, so she should have some manners. Seras asks where she is. |

![]()

![]()

Integra explains this is their headquarters, and they are called the Hellsing Organization. They're the monsters that protect England from the other monsters. Given Seras' condition, she'll be working for them from now on. Walter presents her with a uniform, and Integra says they've received word of a string of vampire attacks. She instructs the police girl to go and kill the vampire. Sometime later, Integra and Walter arrive at a crime scene. |

![]()

![]()

They see that the victims have had their heads torn off, and there are messages on the walls, written in blood. Integra says this is an offense against God, and their church, country and Hellsing itself is being mocked. The vampires responsible are at another home, and have already killed the people inside it. The male vampire tells his girlfriend that soon both of them will have internal life. The female vampire says they'll be invincible vampires forever. The doorbell rings, so the guy goes to check it out. |

![]()

![]()

Before he can open it, a rain of bullets smash through the door, hitting him. Alucard breaks the door down, and walks into the house. |

![]()

![]()

The guy picks up his gun and starts firing, but Alucard blocks the bullets without taking any damage. Alucard thinks this guy doesn't know how to change his body into mist, or a bat. He can't heal his wounds, and now he's out of bullets, he can't defend himself... he disgusts him. The guy gets up and tries to run. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard quickly goes after him and shoots him up, pinning him to the wall. Before he can fall from it, Alucard glides over and stabs him in the heart, reducing him to dust. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard uses his powers to talk to Seras, and tells her it's her turn. Seras is up on the roof, and Alucard asks what she's waiting for. Seras can see the female vampire running, but she's already 600 meters away. Alucard tells her to imagine a third eye from her forehead, and to aim from there. If she shoots like a human, she'll miss like a human. She needs to aim right for the vampire's heart, and put the bullet right through her. |

![]()

![]()

Seras says it's so dark, and she doesn't have a scope. Alucard tells her those are human complaints, now it's time for to make the proper shot like a vampire. Seras concentrates, and her eyes change color to red. She takes aim and fires a single shot, which hits the vampire through the heart, killing her. |

![]()

![]()

Seras thinks that, despite this gun's size, she hardly felt any recoil at all. And whilst it's pitch black, she could see more clearly than in daylight. Alucard tells the police girl that was good shooting. Seras thinks how she could have heard her master's voice in her head earlier, and wonders what it is she's becoming. Alucard says this is only the beginning, and there's a long road ahead of her. |

At Hellsing HQ, Integra looks at some reports. She thinks there's far too many vampires around and causing trouble, vampires who are third or fourth rate and are killing randomly. She thinks these acts of barbarism are pointless and cheap, and thinks it's like someone is churning out vampires from a factory. Meanwhile, in Ireland, Father Renaldo visits Father Anderson. Renaldo says that they've been hearing a lot of bad news lately, coming from England. Anderson says Hellsing has been working hard to keep everything quiet. |

![]()

![]()

Renaldo says there has recently been multiple vampire attacks within England's borders, far too many to be pure coincidence. Anderson doesn't think it's their business, but Renaldo reveals more: Hellsing. He thinks Hellsing is a problem, as they've been holding a stronger front than they'd expected. Anderson thinks Hellsing is nothing but amateurs, as the Catholics, the Vatican and the Iscariots were fighting against the forces of darkness centuries before Hellsing even existed. He wonders why Renaldo is here, as if the trouble is in England, than the English should take care of it on their own. Renaldo reveals it's not only in England, as there has been an attack in Northern Island. |

![]()

![]()

He says Hellsing is on the move, but they won't sit back and watch. Anderson thinks Hellsing has some nerve, sneaking around where they aren't wanted. Renaldo says they'll teach Hellsing to know their place, as this vampire is on Catholic land. He tells Anderson to deal with the vampire before Hellsing does. Anderson asks what he should do if he runs into Hellsing's agents. Renaldo tells him to remember that they are part of God's divine instruments on Earth... they don't retreat when challenged by heretics. Anderson says that if anyone doesn't love the Lord Jesus Christ, let them be accursed. God save them form their fate... amen. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard and Seras are in Northern Ireland, destroying ghouls whilst looking for the vampire. Seras reminds herself these ghouls aren't real people, they may as well be zombie pumpkins. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard tells her to aim to make a hole in the heart or the head. These people didn't become undead ghouls by choice, and there's no way to cure them once they've been changed. He watches as Seras seems to get more excited, and charges directly towards some ghouls who are firing at her. She avoids their bullets, and smashes them to pieces. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard thinks she's beginning to understand what it is to be a vampire. Seras looks at some blood on her hand, and then goes go lick it. But before she can, a bayonet is thrown through her. |

![]()

![]()

This is followed by several more, causing her to fall. Alucard can see those are blessed blades, but then many pages being pinned to the walls. He realizes this is a barrier, and then sees the one who made it walk down the corridor: Anderson. |

![]()

![]()

At Hellsing HQ, Integra is informed that the Vatican's special operations, the Iscariot organization, is on the move. Integra knows Iscariot consists of the most powerful agents the Vatican commands, including professional exorcists and assassins trained to deal with heathens and heretics. She finds out only one agent was deployed: The Paladin, Father Alexander Anderson. When Integra realizes this, she wonders what'll happen if Anderson runs into Alucard and Seras. She decides she'll head to where they are, and tells Walter to keep working with the Vatican. She heads to Northern Ireland via helicopter, along with two bodyguards. |

![]()

![]()

Anderson tells Alucard that the moon is beautiful. Seras tries to get up and groans, but Anderson tells her that her voice sounds so very lovely when she's whimpering in agony. He tells her not to worry though, as she won't die yet -he didn't pierce her heart. Its been a while since he had a good hunt, so he plans on enjoying this. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard realizes Anderson is from Iscariot. Anderson knows the one in front of him is Alucard, the monster who hunts his own kind. Alucard asks him what he did with the vampire they were hunting, but Anderson reveals he's killed him already. He didn't have much fun, and didn't get the time to enjoy it. As he passes Alucard, he says that him and Seras are the only ones left. |

![]()

![]()

He spins around and plunges two bayonets into Alucard, but Alucard shoots him in the head. Alucard removes the bayonets and tells Anderson that he attacked a vampire head on in the middle of the night, and didn't even try to catch him by surprise... he's was a brave man, but also a fool. |

![]()

![]()

Seras calls out to her master, but he tells her not to talk, as she's been stabbed by a blessed blade. But before he can help her, he gets stabbed from behind. Alucard leaps away and starts firing. |

![]()

![]()

He sees that Anderson has been shot down again. But Anderson then gets back up, and charges. He blocks Alucard's bullets, and then throws several bayonets out. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard starts shooting them down, but as he does, Anderson charges forward, and pins him to a wall. He stabs bayonets through his hands, and repairs any damage to himself. Alucard realizes that Anderson is a Regenerator, and Anderson says that's correct. He's a living weapon engineered by the human race to defeat vile monsters like him. |

![]()

![]()

He throws several more bayonets through Alucard, and then cuts off his head. |

![]()

![]()

Meanwhile, Integra says to hurry. Knowing Iscariot -or knowing Alucard -things have already started. Back inside the house, Anderson laughs. He finds it comical this thing was Hellsing's ultimate weapon, and calls Alucard a disappointment and a joke... these bloody Protestants screw everything up. He then realizes that the girl has managed to crawl away despite what he did to her, so maybe he underestimated her. |

![]()

![]()

Seras has picked up Alucard's head, and makes her way out of the house. Whilst it pains her to do it, she manages to remove all of the bayonets stabbed through her back. She tells her master he can't do this, leaving her in this world. She can't do this alone. |

![]()

![]()

Before she can say any more, a bayonet gets shoved through Alucard's head, pinning it to a wall. Anderson asks Seras where she thinks she's going, as there's no place to run. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust... they are nothing more than dust, and to the dust they shall return. Seras realizes she has to escape, but when she tries one of the windows, she gets shocked. |

![]()

![]()

Anderson says that's a spiritual barrier, and it's impossible for vampiric creatures like her to penetrate it. He tells her to settle down so he can slaughter her, as Seras realizes she's going to die. But she then hears Alucard's voice, telling her it's no time for her to lose her head. His head then melts, creating a pool of blood. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard's voice is heard, telling her to drinks his blood. If she drinks it, she'll never again by treated like a slave. She'll truly become one of their kind, and will be able to drink blood of her own choosing. She can wander the night, powerful and singular. She can become eternal and complete. He tells the police girl to drink his blood, and then calls her by her real name: Seras Victoria. As Seras hesitates, Anderson says it's over. |

![]()

![]()

Before he can strike, his bayonets get shot to pieces. Integra appears, and says Seras belongs to her. She asks Anderson what his business is here. He asks what he owes the honor of having her make such a personal appearance, but she says that's enough. This is a violation of their agreement, and the situation here is under their control. She tells him to withdraw immediately, and neither Iscariot of Hellsing can afford this sort of battle. So this act of aggression ends now. Anderson asks if she really expects his organization, God's own chosen instruments of judgment, to just withdraw on her order. Did she really expect him to run away screaming in fear from a filthy Protestant whore?! |

![]()

![]()

Anderson charges, so Integra's bodyguards open fire. But they are quickly sliced up and killed by Anderson. |

![]()

![]()

He then attacks Integra, but she defends herself with her sword. She knows that Anderson is a Regenerator, and it seems his healing has been upgraded. She calls him a thing, but he tells her she's nothing but weak and worthless. And as for that vampire, she's just missed his decapitation. Integra smirks and asks Anderson if all he did was cut Alucard's head off. |

![]()

![]()

Seras gets up and points her gun at Anderson, telling him to get his hands of Integra. Anderson laughs, but Integra tells him things aren't looking good for him. She thinks he should leave whilst he's still able, but he thinks she's gone insane. He's about to paint the walls with the two of them. Integra tells him to make it quick, as Alucard is going to be coming back to life any second now. Suddenly a group of bats smash through the windows. One of them goes up to Seras, and asks why she didn't just drink the blood. |

![]()

![]()

Integra says that Alucard is nothing like any vampire Anderson knows, and his tricks won't kill him. 100 years of the Hellsing family's occult knowledge produced Alucard, their crown glory! Alucard revives. |

![]()

![]()

He clashes with Anderson again, and gets his arms cut off. But he quickly restores them. |

![]()

![]()

Integra thinks Anderson is beginning to understand, and asks him what he's going to do. Anderson decides to leave, stating that he needs further preparations to kill Alucard. As he vanishes in a storm of pages, he says they'll meet again, and next time, he'll butcher them all. Integra asks Alucard if he's alright. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard says he is, although it has been a while since he's had his head cut off. And now, they've finally met Father Anderson. Integra says Anderson has violated their agreements, attacked without provocation, and killed her men. The Vatican will pay dearly for this, but they aren't their priority. There's a shadow organization out there who is responsible for this increase in vampire attacks. Alucard asks what his orders are, and says he can destroy them, and wipe them from the Earth. He wants his master to just give the word. Integra says that when the time comes, she will. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard then goes up to Seras, and asks why she didn't drink the blood. Seras says she's not sure, but it felt like if she drank the blood, it was mean the end of something important inside of her. Alucard thinks she's an idiot, but maybe she has a point. Perhaps it's time for a vampire who does not walk alone through the night. |

![]()

![]()

As Alucard walks off, Integra asks him why he turned Seras into a vampire. Alucard wonders why indeed... was it for fun, for sport, or maybe it was just a whim? That doesn't sound like him, but perhaps after years spent with humans they've finally rubbed off on him. He might be developing a sense of whimsy. He tells the police girl they're going, and tells her not to dawdle. Seras starts running, but tells her master that her name isn't police girl, it's Sera Victoria. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard calls her a coward, and "Police Girl" will do. Seras thinks he's mean! Integra thinks that was quite a thing for Alucard to say, but it's just what she'd expect from a King of Vampires, or a Count. |

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will move forward with our plans for the impending war. And for the war beyond that, and for the war beyond that, and the next, and the next..."
