Galvatron's quest for energy continues. He has heard of the Twin Star system, and says there is an unbelievable amount of energy there. The Destrons heard towards Twin Star, which consists of two diametrically opposed planets -Toruin and Sperity. The population of the Sperity communicate to the Destrons, and ask them what the purpose of their visit it, but the Destrons do not respond and continue to move in.

Battleship Maximus is following the Destrons, but Chromedome is getting fed up of shadowing their enemies all of the time. He thinks holding back is not the way of the warrior, and Hardhead agrees with him. Fortress starts questioning if he could win without making any sacrifices and if brute force would be enough. Brainstorm chips in by saying that fighting is all they think about, and that using your brain to win with style is more important. Only idiots use brute force. A three way argument begins between him, Chromedome and Hardhead, but Highbrow points out that they are approaching Twin Star.

The Destrons have already entered Sperity's atmosphere, but are warned that if they do not turn back, Sperity's defenses will open fire. Not worried by this at all, Galvatron orders MegaZarak to move on ahead at full speed. Sperity's laser cannons open up and star firing, but do not have enough power to damage the enemy and start to be destroyed by MegaZarak.

Meanwhile the Cybertrons bring up Twin Star on the ship's ceiling viewscreen and see how there are two planets connected together, although one of them appears to be populated whilst the other one seems to be a wasteland. Fortress tells Arcee to go to the barren world for now with Daniel and Wheelie, as it will be dangerous when they go into battle. Brainstorm decides to go along too, which Chromedome can't believe. He thinks Brainstorm is a coward, but Brainstorm says he can't fight with people who he disagrees with.

On Serenity, MegaZarak lands and the Destrons run outside. Galvatron tells everyone to split up and search for the energy deposits. As the Destrons move out, Mindwipe and Weirdwolf notice Battleship Maximus moving in. MegaZarak transforms to base mode and starts shooting at the ship, which returns fire at him.

The Trainbots transport Brainstorm, Arcee, Wheelie and Daniel to Toruin and drop them off. They then combine into Raiden and head back to the battle on Sperity. The remaining Cybertrons take a quick look around, and see that nothing could live on the barren surface so they are most likely alone. They need a place to set up camp and Arcee finds a large cave that may suit them.

Meanwhile on Sperity, MegaZarak keeps the Cybertrons at bay whilst Galvatron and the others look for the energy reserves. MegaZarak transforms into robot mode and grabs onto Fortress' ship, but falls off it when Fortress heads upwards. The battle is being watched by the Twin Star's leaders, who believe that the ship which just arrived must not be hostile, but they cannot be sure.

Deciding to not take any chances, the leaders decide to evacuate Sperity. One of the leaders contacts a Commander on the planet, and tells him to start the evacuation whilst setting all of their turret defenses to automatic. The turrets are soon take shots at the Destron combiners, whilst the Cybertron Headmasters power up with their power up formation technique.

Chromedome, Hardhead and Highbrow all swap heads, and then Chromedome uses a high powered flying kick to knock down all of the Destron Headmasters one at a time. Meanwhile, on Toruin, Brainstorm and the others are getting bored, but they then see a small mechanical toy dog moving outside. Wondering what it could be, they go and check. Brainstorm reckons that there must be someone else outside and demands that they come out.

Wheelie and Daniel end up finding a robot, who takes his toy and then runs off into a cave. The Cybertrons follow the robot into the cave, but he seems to have vanished. Daniel finds a button which Brainstorm presses, and a secret door opens up.

Continuing on, the Cybertrons find what appears to be a large underground city. They press on into it and figure out that Toruin is used for emergency evacuations of Sperity, but they are then found by Twin Star forces.

Galvatron isn't having any luck finding the energy, and Sixshot and Soundblaster say that they haven't found any either. Still believing that it must be somewhere on the planet, Galvatron tells everyone to keep searching. Soundblaster sends Frenzy and Rumble out to also have a look.

Back on Toruin, the Cybertrons are taken to one of the leaders of Twin Star, who understands that they are the good guys. Daniel then asks where the energy is kept, only to be told that it's none of his business. However, Daniel then guesses that the energy is actually on Toruin, and his hunch is correct when the Twin Star leader asks how he knew that. The Cybertrons think that they should let Galvatron waste his time searching Sperity. Brainstorm says he has to go and tell Fortress this but the leader says he can't let them go now the secret is out. Arcee volunteers to stay behind as a hostage with Daniel and Wheelie whilst Brainstorm leaves, which the leader agrees to. Brainstorm gets in a vehicle and travels through a large tunnel, which connects the two planets together.

Brainstorm arrives on Sperity, and meets a soldier called Dafuna. Dafuna tells him he has a message for Brainstorm's superior, as their government has come to a decision. Nearby, Galvatron is watching MegaZarak fight Battleship Maximus, and is not happy. The Destrons have found no energy on this planet, and he blames MegaZarak for everything going wrong. So instead, he leaps up onto Battleship Maximus and starts shooting at it -nobody gets in his way!

Brainstorm tries to get through to Fortress, but the Horrortrons stop him. He asks for help from his fellow Headmasters, but they need help themselves -their Destron counterparts are really putting up a fight. But Brainstorm then has an idea, and the Cybertron Headmasters keep switching their heads until Brainstorm's head is on Chromedome's transector.

Brainstorm knocks down Weirdwolf and jumps up to Battleship Maximus, where he also knocks Galvatron down. Brainstorm informs Fortress about how everyone is being evacuated and that a siren will sound when the evacuation is complete. The battle below continues, but stops for a moment when everyone hears a siren.

The Destrons have no idea what the siren is for, but for the Cybertronsknow what to do. The Cybertron Headmasters switch their heads back and jump up to the ship, and the other Cybertrons also return. Raiden gets rid of Galvatron by throwing him, whilst MegaZarak loses his grip on Battleship Maximus and also falls.

Soundblaster runs over to Galvatron and says that they have found the energy reserves. Galvatron is disgusted with what they have found -a measly stack of energon cubes. Sixshot says they have wasted enough time here, but then the planet begins to shake. Heading outside, Soundblaster points out that Toruin has separated from Sperity. Galvatron believes that Toruin is a worthless planet that they can't gain anything from, so the Destrons withdraw.

Of course all of the energy reserves on Sperity are safe on Toruin. The inhabitants of Twin Star thank the Cybertrons for their help. Brainstorm patches things up with his fellow Headmaster buddies, and then they get back into Battleship Maximus and take off.

Out in space, the Cybertrons start to follow the Destrons again, but Fortress is uneasy. He thinks that whatever Galvatron is up to could have terrible consequences for the entire galaxy. What could Fortress be thinking about? And what will Galvatron plan next?
