Fatal Fury 2
The New Battle
In his castle in Germany, Wolfgang Krauser walks up to a massive organ. Two servants remove his cape.
He sits down, then pulls out a rose. He then tosses it behind him and starts playing the organ.
In South Town, at the Pao Pao Cafe, Richard is pouring Billy a drink when someone comes in, holding Ripper's body. The man, Laurence Blood, drops Ripper and then glares at Billy.
At the place where Geese used to live, his followers have been defeated in battle by Krauser's men. As Krauser arrives in a helicopter, Laurence appears. He presents his master with Billy's broken staff and bandanna.
Krauser walks towards a waterfall and throws a projectile at it. It's destroyed, revealing a secret cave. As he heads inside it, he sees Geese Howard -he's still alive! He throws Billy's staff at the ground next to Geese.
Geese asks who's there, and Krauser says it's been a while. He sees that this is all that's left of the King of South Town. Geese knows he hasn't come all this way just to see him, and asks what he wants. Krauser says he wants to have some fun with the man who crippled him. Geese says he'll tell him, and gives him a name: Terry Bogard.
Back in the present, Krauser stops playing the organ, and laughs. He then says Terry's name.
Fatal Fury 2
The New Battle
Meanwhile, Terry has returned to South Town and has got a job working at the docks. His supervisor tells him it's lunch time, but then disaster strikes -a crane drops its entire load above them! But Terry leaps up and hits the girders.
Terry tells his supervisor it's alright now. The supervisor sees the girders have all fallen away from them, and asks Terry if he did that. Terry says he used to to some karate, a while back. He suddenly feels a pain on his ankle, and realizes he must have twisted it. But he says it's nothing serious, and walks off.
Terry heads off and sees a kid called Tony fishing. He asks him if he's caught anything, and sees a tiny fish in a bucket. Tony asks him what's it to him, but Terry tells him to lighten up and have some of his lunch. Tony initially refuses, but then his stomach rumbles. Terry tells him to go ahead and have some.
Tony decides to accept Terry's offer. Terry starts eating too, but starts choking when he hears someone telling Geese to prepare himself! They turn around and see a group of kids reenacting the time when Terry, Andy and Joe fought against Geese Howard. Terry doesn't mind what they are doing, but Tony takes offense to it.
Tony heads over to them, and says not to joke around with the name of Terry Bogard. Terry's a wolf, the toughest fighter in the world! He's not some fat pig like the kid pretending to be him. The group of boys guess Terry would rather be played by someone like Tony. They then joke that Tony's father was a street fighter himself, but got killed in a fight -what a wimp! They start laughing, and ask if he'll take them all on at once. Tony says he'll never know until he tries! He runs forward.
He lands a punch on the Terry kid, but then the other boys hold him back. The Terry kid hits him a few times, and asks him if he'll give up. Tony says he won't give up that easily, and smashes the heads of the two kids holding him together.
He then leaps onto the Terry kid, and starts punching him in the face, over and over, whilst telling him not to dare make fun of his father. The kid pretending to be Geese gets scared, and runs off. Terry then steps in, and grabs Tony's wrist. He tells him a strong man doesn't pick on the weak.
As Terry and Tony watch the other kids leave, another man appears, and says he's finally found Terry. The man introduces himself as Kim Kaphwan, and Terry has heard of him -he knows he's the taekwondo champion.
Kim says he wishes to fight the man who defeated Geese Howard, and has come all the way from Korea to do so. Terry calls him polite, which he likes. He tells Tony to stand back. He and Kim then start to fight, as Kim leaps up and uses a jump kick.
Terry ducks it, but then has to block many more kicks. He manages to throw Kim away from him, and says he can see why he's a champion. The two resume fighting, and Terry jumps up and hits Kim with an aerial burn knuckle.
Kim hits the ground, but as Terry lands, he suddenly feels a pain in his ankle again. Kim jumps towards him and uses a multi-kick move called the soaring kick.
Terry takes several hits, and gets knocked back. He tells Kim that his technique is excellent, he's forced him to go all out. Terry stands up, and uses a secret technique of the eight extremes holy fist: the whirlwind punch!
Kim gets hit by the move, and lands in the water. Terry jumps in to save him, and then asks Tony for a hand.
Later on, Kim thanks Terry for the match. Terry says he should be thanking him, he hasn't had a fight like that in a while. He asks Kim if he can buy him a drink, but Kim declines. He says this match has inspired him, and he must return home, to begin training with new vigor. Terry says he looks forward to their next match, and Kim says until then.
As Terry watches Kim leave, Tony brings over his hat. Tony asks Terry if he could be his disciple, but Terry says he's still in training himself. As he walks off, Tony follows him. He says that he's his biggest fan, and begs for him to take him in. Terry asks him if he has a family, and Tony says he just has his mother. Terry says that's all the more reason to forget about fighting.
Tony continues to follow Terry, and says he wants to be big and strong like him. Terry suddenly stops him, and tells him to stand back. As Tony heads off, Terry thinks he can sense someone, someone who is radiating enough power to give him goosebumps. He asks whoever is there what they want, and Krauser appears.
Krauser says he watched Terry's fight with Kim. He thinks Terry's technique wasn't bad, but it lacked impact. It might have been less awful if he'd used a kick. Terry thinks this guy managed to guess his ultimate secret technique at just a glance. He asks him who he is, but Krauser says he'll only say if Terry defeats him.
Krauser suddenly appears right behind Terry. Terry staggers forwards, and thinks that his opponent is way too big to move at such speeds -he's a monster! Krauser suddenly appears right in front of him, and hits him with a single punch.
Krauser asks him if he's really Terry Bogard, as he expected more of a fight. Terry gets up and uses the burn knuckle, but Krauser stops it with one hand. Terry then tries punching Krauser, and whilst Krauser thinks those are some good punches...
...he needs to use more strength, and less wasted motion. He grabs Terry by the face, and lifts him up. He thinks Terry's chi isn't flowing smoothly, and wonders why that is. He tells Terry he'd better break free, otherwise he'll crush his head. Terry does a kick which Krauser blocks, only for Terry to knee his other arm, causing him to let go.
Krauser thinks that was more like it, and tells him to keep it up. Terry thinks Krauser's strength is amazing, he can't beat him in a fair fight. He decides to risk it all on the wave motion whirlwind kick, despite his twisted ankle. He has to try, otherwise Krauser is going to kill him! He starts to use the technique.
Krauser observes, and says that's how he's focusing his energy. Terry sees that, somehow, Krauser appears to be doing the same technique as himself! They both use the wave motion whirlwind kick, and the two tornados crash into each other.
Terry takes several hits, and gets sent flying into a wall. As he collapses, Krauser stares at him.
Krauser thinks back, and remembers a dead man slumped against a pillar. Another younger man is there, with one of his hands covered in blood. The younger man stares at the body of the dead man.
Tony then runs to Terry to see if he's OK, which snaps Krauser out of his reminiscing. Tony says that the only reason Terry was defeated was because he was worn out after his battle with Kim. Krauser says that if Terry wasn't at full strength, then that's promising. He introduces himself to Tony, and says that once Terry is rested, he can find him in at his castle in Germany. He walks off, and says he's looking forward to their next match.
Many years ago, young Krauser is walking with his father, Rudolph. Geese then appears, holding a knife. He calls out to Rudolph, and says that this is for his mother, the person he'd left to die. He tells Rudolph that he hates him, and tells him to die.
He runs forward, but before he can stab Rudolph, Krauser stops him. Krauser strikes one of his arms and recognizes Geese, as he is his half-brother. He tells Geese to come back if he ever leans how to fight, and tosses him back his knife.
Back in the present, Geese's thoughts are interrupted when Hopper shows up. Hopper informs him that Terry has been defeated by Wolfgang Krauser. Geese tells him to put their plan into motion, and wants to see how Krauser will deal with this.
