Ken and the others are watching the fight between Toki and Raoh when suddenly, there is a large explosion between the two fighters. Ken tells Bat and Lin that Toki just used a secret technique known as "Touki Kohou", but as the smoke clears both fighters are still at it.

Toki tries to kick Raoh, but he jumps high into the air to avoid it. However Toki then also jumps up and uses a move known as "Hokuto Tenshou Hyakuretsu Ken", an aerial version of the normal Hyakuretsu Ken. Raoh doesn't avoid it and is hit repeatedly before he falls back to the ground. Both fighters land, but Raoh drops to his knees.

Toki says that their fight is now over and strikes Raoh in his chest. Bat thinks that Toki must have won now, but Ken is still watching and says that the star of death was shining over Toki all along. Toki cannot win this fight -he does not have the power to use the fatal attacks because he is sick. Roah has also realised this and tells his brother that if he wasn't sick, he would have killed him. But because he is in a weakened state, he no longer has the strength required to stop him.

Toki ignores him and plunges his other fist into his chest, but Raoh doesn't seem to show and pain and removes both of his hands. He says that he must stop now, as this is a fight he can no longer win. He has had an unfair destiny...and that destiny ends here. Raoh then pummels his brother...

...and finally defeats him. Lin wants to help the fallen Toki, but Bat stops her. He's seen that this fight still isn't over yet, and they all look to see that Toki isn't dead. He slowly gets back up.

Raoh asks Toki to give up, but he ignores him. Toki charges with a dual palm strike, but Raoh easily evades it and then gets him in a choke-lock, and again tells him to stop now. He says he knows how he became stronger, and reveals it to everyone by slashing away part of Toki's trousers. This reveals what Raoh thought -Toki had pressed his "Sekkatsukou" pressure points, which gave him incredible strength for a short amount of time -at the cost of shortening his own life span!

Raoh begins to cry as he is ashamed that his brother, the greatest Hokuto Shinken master, will be defeated by disease rather than in battle. Toki asks Raoh why he is crying, as he said that he had buried his tears a long time a go, and that he should do the same...

When Toki first started his training in Hokuto Shinken, he was going up against Raoh, who was obviously much stronger than him at that point. After beating Toki down, Raoh asks if that is the limit of his strength and then notices he is crying. Raoh lifts his head up and says that he never wants to see him cry again. If he really want to surpass him, then he must bury his tears, as they are useless. Raoh had decided to never cry again, and will transform his tears into strength and ambition. He's given up tears for his fist, and to conquer the heavens.

Back in the present Raoh says that Toki knew he was fighting a battle he could never win. Toki says he has had no regrets with this battle, and asks his brother to end his destiny with his fist. Raoh bids farewell to his brother, his strongest opponent, and goes to punch him.

Raoh does an extremely powerful punch and it looks like Toki is done for, but it turns out Raoh missed - he instead punched the ground just behind his brother's head. Toki asks why Raoh did this. Raoh tells him to think of that punch as his big brother's spite towards his sad destiny -the fact that a great man like him will die from his illness.

After telling his brother to live the rest of his life in peace, he turns around and prepares to leave. Kokuoh-Go comes over to him and as Raoh gets on him and puts on his cape, he tells Kenshiro that Ken-Oh's legend begins now. If he wishes to end his life, he can try it whenever he wants. He then rides away on his horse.

Kenshiro, Bat and Lin see to Toki. Toki says that he couldn't fulfil the promise he made with Raoh, and finally explains what exactly that promise was. It was made a long time a go...

Raoh asked Toki why he trains as hard as he does. Toki tells him that it is still his ultimate goal to surpass his brother. Raoh laughs, but then tells him that if he should ever take the wrong path, he wants Toki to stop him. Toki told him that he understands his request.

Back in the present once more, the sun starts to rise as Kenshiro tells Toki that he will fulfil that promise in Toki's place -that's the destiny of the successor to Hokuto Shinken. Meanwhile Raoh takes one last look at the battleground where he just fought his brother, as the sun continues to rise. He then has his horse turn around, and he rides away.

Sometime later, Sara is still in Toki's village when she thinks she sees Toki in one of the fields. She looks again and sees that he's still there, and that she isn't seeing things -he really is there and he really has returned! He won't live for much longer, but she's clearly still glad he's come back as she hugs him. Now if only Sara had any sort of character development in this movie of any kind at all I could say I care. The End.
