Kenshiro reveals that he is back to normal, and his memory has been restored. He crumbles Bat's restraints and catches him, saying he is like a younger brother to him. After telling Lin to look after Bat, he goes to confront Bolge. Kenshiro easily wins, defeating with with the North Star 100 Crack Fist technique.

Later on, Kenshiro, Lin and Mamiya find a small village where they can bury Bat. Lin says she knows who she loves, and that she can never be happy now that he is dead. She asks Ken if it is alright for her to stay in this village, as she wants to stay near Bat's grave. Kenshiro says that is fine, but he will be leaving. Lin has a tearful goodbye with Kenshiro before heading back to where Bat's body is being kept.

Lin goes back to where Mamiya is, and looks at Bat. She hugs his body, but then realises that he has a heart beat -he is alive! The big dipper shines on him, as Lin and Mamiya realise that Kenshiro has struck some of Bat's pressure points, preventing him from dying. Mamiya turns around and sees Kenshiro in the distance, who then turns and starts to walk away from the village. He looks up to the sky and sees the spirit of Yuria, and tells her that this was the best way. But it is time for him to go now.

Kenshiro sees a village under attack by bandits. As he goes towards it, an injured man carrying a child runs towards him, begging for help, as a punk with an axe chases after them. The punk then sees Kenshiro.
