Synopsis
Fudou explains to Kenshiro about how Yuria survived. He and the other five chariot stars saved her when she jumped off of Shin's fortress. Rihaku explained to Shin that Raoh was heading to Southern Cross, and if he captured Yuria, she would either be forced to love him, or die. Shin decided to let the chariot stars take her and keep her safe, as either he or Kenshiro would stand before her again one day. Back in the present, Raoh keeps trying to get Juza to talk, but he won't, so he tosses him to the ground.
Despite being badly injured, Juza continues to fight, but is eventually defeated after Raoh hits him with hundreds of punches. However, even in death Juza continues to fight, but eventually he falls for good. Raoh tells his troops to bury him here, as he rides off to the South Star capital on his horse. There was only one person Juza would fight so fiercely for, and he thinks he knows who the last general is.
Kenshiro heads towards the capital, but encounters many of Raoh's troops, and has to fight them. Meanwhile, Raoh can see the capital, and thinks that the last general must be Yuria. Rihaku receives a message, and learns of Juza's fate. There is no time to grieve for him though, as whilst Kenshiro is on the way to the capital, so is Raoh. He rallies his forces to prepare themselves.
-In the manga, Juza dies after Raoh tosses him to the ground. (Raoh is still respectful though, and the scene with the Black King kicking dirt over his body is shown). In the anime, they decided to make the fight longer, and power up Juza quite a bit, so he could fight on despite his terrible injuries.
-The flashback scene showing how Yuria survived is shown after Kenshiro defeats the enemy troops in the manga, whilst it is shown much earlier in the anime.
-The recap features clips from the previous episode. Several of them have a few differences, click here for details.
-The art and animation for this episode is really good, among the best in the series -not quite as good as episodes 49 and 56, but better than any other episode.
-Fudou is suddenly wearing his jacket again in this episode, he wasn't at the end of the previous one.
-During the flashback scene, Fudou seems to be much smaller than he should be.
-As in the previous episode, Raoh seems to be too tall in several shots during his fight against Juuza.
