Raoh, known as Ken-Oh, continues his ambition of conquest. But now, safe in the capital, the last General of the Nanto Roku Seiken has begun to make his move.

At what is quite possibly the worst placed castle ever, a bird drops off a message to a man in blue called Hyui. Another younger man approaches him, who is Zion. Zion asks Hyui what's up and finds out that they have received a message from Rihaku. It is time for the five chariot stars to start their destiny of serving the last Nanto General.

One brigade of Ken-Oh's army have set up a camp, but their tents are blown away by a strong wind. Wondering where it could have suddenly come from they look to see that some large clouds of dust are heading their way. As it gets nearer they realise that an army of bikers are heading straight towards them!

Later on, Ken-Oh himself arrives at what is left at the camp. Only one soldier there remains alive, but he's still been heavily wounded. He explains that they were attacked by the army of the wind and were completely destroyed by this powerful new enemy. Their leader was especially strong, as we see that this wind army easily wiped out Ken-Oh's forces.

The remaining soldier saw his commander's death. The leader of the wind army simply told him that they kill anyone who serves Ken-Oh. Drawing out his sword, the commander dashed forward to try and split him in two. As he does this, Hyui has already started his own attack.

GOSHA FUURETSU KEN

(Five Chariot Wind Split Fist)

Hyui says that he attacks with the power of the wind. Ken-Oh wonders, are there other fools aside from Kenshiro who want to try and stop him? Meanwhile, in another village, a picture of Ken-Oh tells villagers that he wants them to join his forces.

Some of Ken-Oh's troops are in the town, asking people to join the army now. They'll get to eat and drink whenever they want and better yet, they'll never have to fight -as soon as their enemies hear Ken-Oh's name they run away in fear! Soon a lot of people are ready to join, and are told to get into a truck to be taken to the training camp. As they start to get on an old man appears and tells them that they are being tricked, it is hell in Ken-Oh's army and they are throwing their lives away by doing this. He had two sons who joined Ken-Oh's army, but they never returned and he heard that they were treated horribly, then killed.

Kenshiro, Bat and Lin happen to have just entered this village, and hear the old man's words. The old man is about to be killed, but is saved by Kenshiro, who throws the attacker to the floor. The Ken-Oh recruitment guy thinks he is pretty strong, so he should consider signing up. And somewhat surprisingly, Ken says he will! Bat also tries to join, but they have no need for children and he and Lin are turned down.

As the truck soon arrives at the camp, a large figure observes it's approach. Far away, Bat uses a telescope to view where Ken is and sees that he has made it inside the camp. He wonders if Ken really has switched sides and joined up with Ken-Oh's forces, but Lin tells him not to be stupid as Kenshiro would never do something like that. At the camp, the new recruits are thanked for coming here and are introduced to their new master: David.

David says that he hopes the new recruits will fight with pride and honor, but only one of them will be allowed to join the army. The one exam is simple enough: they must kill each other. The last man standing will be allowed in, as only the strong may join. The new recruits can't believe it and refuse to go along with this scheme, so they all turn around to leave. But before they can go they walk into a giant called Glen: a human killing machine David himself raised. Glen tells them to wait.

If the recruits want to leave, they must defeat Glen. Glen immediately picks up three guys and nearly crushes them to death, as David says that the only way out of this is if they kill each other to the last man standing.

None of them want to do this aside from Kenshiro, who says that he is up to the challenge. One of the recruitment guys thinks he has the right idea, and tells Ken to start killing the other guys. Ken says he understands, and starts to punch and kick the troop instead, and his head soon explodes.

When David realises that this recruit is Kenshiro, he is pleased. If he can kill him, Ken-Oh will reward him with his own army to command, rather than this boring recruitment job. He sets Glen on him, who's first punch misses and goes into the ground. Kenshiro batters him with punches and then uses a kick, but it doesn't seem to have any effect!

Glen begins to crush Kenshiro, using so much power that he destroys his restraining springs. He then throws and punches him several times, before starting to choke the life out of him. David thinks that this is the end for Kenshiro.

However Kenshiro rips his jacket apart and then frees himself from Glen's grasp. Glen starts to punch Kenshiro repeatedly, but it doesn't seem to work. He grabs an iron girder and smashes it down on him, but the girder is the only thing that gets damaged.

Glen then picks up a huge piece of rubble and smashes it over Kenshiro's head, but it just breaks apart, whilst Kenshiro feels nothing. He grabs one of Glen's wrists, and starts to squeeze until it snaps. Ken tells him that his strength has been greatly reduced, and that he is now useless and weak.

Glen tells him that he had been raised only to fight and if he is now useless, there is no point of him to even live any more. He asks Kenshiro to finish him, but is told that it doesn't have to end this way. He can live in peace if he stops killing, and that he doesn't have to fight. Glen decides to change his ways, but as soon as he gets up, he is shot by many arrows.

Glen collapses and dies. David says he has no use for weak people, but his actions anger Kenshiro who tells him that what he has done to Glen is unforgivable. David realises that he is in trouble and orders all of his men to attack Kenshiro. However none of them have the courage to face their enemy and refuse to budge. Ken says that Ken-Oh's army is nothing but men who chain people through fear and empty threats! David sees that taking Kenshiro on was a mistake, but he has a plan: run away!

David and the troops run, but in the distance they see someone else running towards them. The other man runs right between them all and then stops, revealing himself to by Hyui.

All of his men suddenly get split into pieces as David realises that he is now on his own. Hyui has his own army with him, so there is no escape. David explains that he isn't an important member of Ken-Oh's army and never did anything wrong, but his fate is sealed the moment he said "Ken-Oh".

Seconds later he is split apart by Hyui. As his remains fall to the ground, Hyui turns around and correctly guesses that the remaining man in front of him is Kenshiro. After introducing himself, I think it's inevitable what is going to happen in the next episode!
