Kenshiro, Rei and Mamiya are walking through a canyon at night. They do not find anything other than human remains and they know that the Fang clan must have been through this area recently. Mamiya knows that there is a village not that far away from here and they decide to head to that. However, the Fang clan are already at that village and Gojiba leads the attack. The first thing the clan does is ride through the village and set a few buildings on fire.



They then start to kill a few people, not caring on if they try to defend themselves or not. Gojiba then orders for his clan to capture a few villagers, saying that any young people they come across should be spared and captured so they can be taken back home and "trained" into joining them. As the prisoners are put into a truck, Gojiba then hears a lot of screaming behind him and sees that one of his clan has cornered a small group of people.



Madara, one of the most ferocious and beast like members of the clan, has been shot with an arrow which he removes from himself. This doesn't seem to injure him, although he moans that it hurt, and instead sends him into a frenzy. He quickly slaughters the group of people.



Madara refuses to clam down, so the other Fangs all have to attack him at one and place some chains on him which are linked to weights. Having captured enough people, Gojiba and the others pull out of the village. By the time Kenshiro's group arrive they are too late, as everything has been destroyed and there are only a few survivors. They rescue a trapped boy, but he doesn't last for long and dies in Mamiya's arms.



Two of the Fang clan have stayed behind and when they see Ken and Rei they decide to get revenge for their dead brothers. They are noticed by Ken and Rei and killed before they can get close. Meanwhile, back at Mamiya's village, Lin is worrying about things. Because Ken is gone she feels "cold". Bat thought it was just because it was late.



Meanwhile, at the Fang's base, King Fang himself greets the captured people and tells them that they will service his poor, dead sons in heaven. One of the people mouths off, saying that he is an idiot, so King Fang kills him. King Fang then asks the rest of the people if they are ready to service his sons, but he then says they do not understand what he is talking about and sets the rest of the clan on them.



As the villagers are slaughtered, King Fang promises his dead sons revenge once again when suddenly Madara starts to go berserk. King Fang is big enough to make him calm down without the use of force and learns that Madara just wants to avenge his dead brothers, too. The time for that is soon at hand as another Fang spots Ken, Rei and Mamiya walking straight towards them!



The trio have stopped to take a break, but they then hear laughter and see that the Fangs have found them. King Fang tells the three that they will all die here and sends down Madara to destroy them. Ken steps forward to deal with this opponent.



Madara is very quick and uses a technique where he runs incredibly fast to create illusions of himself to try and trick Ken. He leaps up to attack, but his technique fails as Ken has managed to work out which Madara was the real one, and strikes him in his neck.



Madara bites Ken, but even this fails as he can't move his mouth properly -Ken reveals that he struck a hidden pressure point to stop him ever biting anyone again. Instead, Madara tries his quick movement tactic from earlier, and manages to strike Ken's shoulder pad off, but Ken returns the favour by hitting his hands with the Goshi Retsu Dan technique.



This blows apart Madara's fingers, and Ken then kicks him in the mouth so hard that one of his teeth breaks off and heads straight towards King Fang. He catches it with his mouth and crushes it. Kenshiro then uses a Hokuto technique to finish Madara off.


HOKUTO HAGAN KEN

(North Star Face-Breaking Fist)



King Fang sees that Kenshiro is too strong for Madara and calls him back, but Ken says that he should have done that earlier, as he is already dead. Mardara's head then explodes as King Fang gets to see what Hokuto Shinken can do. Not put off, he plays his ace: he orders for Airi to be brought out.



Several large lamps are turned on and their rays are all focused into one spot. As the trio look at this area they see a single girl on the top of a rock: Airi! Rei is shocked when he sees that his sister is still alive and starts to walk towards her, saying that he has spent so long searching for her, but she does not seem to recognise his voice and asks who is talking to her. Her eyes are closed and it also seems that she cannot open them. Rei starts to run forward...



...but almost has a spear go through his head when several of the things burst out of the ground. Kenshiro holds Rei back, but seeing Airi has made Rei lose his focus. Mamiya tells him to calm down, but he has entered a rage and calls out again to his sister, telling her that he is here. However, Airi's reply isn't good as she kneels down and asks if the one calling her is her new master! She says she will not try to escape from him and will obey his every wish for her. Rei cannot believe what she has just said and that she doesn't remember him, but he doesn't give up hope.



Escaping Ken's grasp, he destroys some of the spears and then takes out her wedding cape. He throws it and it lands on her, and she feels the material. When she does this, she knows she has felt it before and remembers that she was going to get married until the bandits attacked and took her away, and she then realises that her brother has come to rescue her!



She explains that when she was taken away, she was sold on and has had several different masters since. She couldn't stand the horrors she saw and turned herself blind by pouring poison into her eyes. She then calls out to her brother, who runs forward, just as a Fang clan bursts out of the ground and stabs through one of Rei's hands. Rei slices the guy apart.



As Rei continues on, Airi is captured once more and taken back up. King Fang grabs her with one arm, pulls out his sword and tells Rei he will show him what true sadness is as he starts to torture Airi!
