Chapter Two
The Tumultuous Dragon and Tiger



Are Battles All
That Await Me!!

Kenshiro's group are taking a break. Bat and Lin are having something to eat, whilst Kenshiro is repairing one of his shoes.

All Kenshiro can think about is what happened recently. With Yuria... with Shin...

Bat is about to take another can of food, but Lin stops him. Kenshiro is still thinking about what happened, and then starts drinking some water. But he then thinks of the last thing Shin did...

Kenshiro throws his empty water can aside, and Bat and Lin hear it bounce across the ground. Lin was going to take Ken a can of food, but she stops.

Nearby, a truck full of food is heading back to a village. But as it continues on, several men leap out of the ground, and land on the truck. The two guys in the truck realize that it's the Fang clan!

The Fangs start smashing the truck, and eventually smash the front window. The truck goes out of control.

Kenshiro's group are waiting around. Bat thinks that he wants to tell Ken and Lin they should go, but he realizes he doesn't know where they can go now, now Yuria and Shin are gone. He then sees an explosion in the distance, and uses some binoculars to find out what's going on.

The truck has crashed, and fallen onto its side. The two guys in the truck manage to get out and start to walk away. The Fang clan aren't interested in them, and instead start to take all the food. But they don't realize that gasoline is leaking everywhere, and it eventually causes a big explosion, destroying the food.

The Fang clan get blasted back. One of them, Kemada, blames the two guys in the truck for what happened. They were counting on that food they were shipping out here, now it has all been burned! He starts beating them up, and says they're hungry. They should feel sorry him and his brothers! As they aren't showing remorse, he'll make them pay.

Before he can do anything else, two cans get kicked into his eyes. As they drop off, Kemada and the other Fangs see that Kenshiro has arrived. The Fangs wonder who this guy is, but Kenshiro calls them hyenas and tells them to stop now. They think he's trying to make fools of them, and rush over.

They try to take him down, but can't even get him to move. With one swipe of his arm, Kenshiro sends three of them into a wall. Kemada tells everyone to get Kenshiro.

The rest of the Fangs attack, but even all of them together can't move Kenshiro. He picks them all up...

...and throws them into the wall. Kenshiro thinks Kemada must be the boss, and warns him that if he continues with this, he's just going to die. He tells him to take his men and leave right now. Kemada curses Kenshiro, but does not attack.

Kenshiro's group take the two guys from the truck back to their village. At the village, the elder thanks Kenshiro's group for saving the two guys. He explains that they've worked so hard, and managed to find a well. Because of this, they've been able to grow some crops, and are hoping to be self-sufficient soon. But lately, they've been attacked by a group of bandits called the Fang clan. Lin then notices that they've got flowers here, which she can't believe.

She says she didn't think she'd ever see flowers again, and even Bat says they're pretty -although they are useless, so you don't see them much anymore. A woman then walks up to them, and tells Lin that she really seems to love flowers. As Lin turns around, she tells the woman that she used to pick flowers with her mother and father, long ago.

The woman says she knows the day will come when the fields will be filled with flowers again. She says that her name is Mamiya, just as Kenshiro walks up to them. As Mamiya tells Lin she'll see her later, she gets up, turns around, and looks at Kenshiro. Kenshiro can't believe it -Mamiya looks so much like Yuria!

Mamiya asks Kenshiro who he is. Kenshiro tells her his name, and she tells him hers. She suddenly whips something out, but Kenshiro catches it with just two of his fingers: a bladed yoyo weapon.

Mamiya tells him well done -he has skills, as most men get their foreheads cracked open with this. She thinks he could beat the Fangs, but he doesn't know how bad they could be. They've got the power to send him to hell, so he should be careful. Mamiya says bye to Lin, and walks off. Bat thinks she's so cool! Meanwhile, Kemada and some other Fans have been watching. They know where Kenshiro is now, and Kemada says that the Fang clan doesn't forgive anyone who gets in their way.

As they were planning to attack this village anyway, Kemada says to kill everyone, and tells his brothers to attack. Most of the Fangs head down on their bikes. At the village, everyone sees that they're about to be under attack. Mamiya tells everyone to stand firm.

Kenshiro and Bat have gone inside a building, where they find the village's water source. Bat says it's no wonder those bandits want this place. Lin then runs in and says that they've got trouble. Outside, the Fangs have come to a stop at part of the wall around the village.

Mamiya tells them to come closer if they want, she'll just barbecue them. One of the Fangs says he likes a girl with spirit, and tells everyone to attack. The Fangs charge, but the villagers fight back, killing some of them before they can get over the wall.

The villagers start taking losses, but Mamiya turns things back into their favor when she starts blasting the Fangs with her flamethrower. However, the Fangs then ram a truck into the wall.

Mamiya and the other villagers get knocked down, as the Fangs enter the village. One of them says they're all going to die, and is about to strike Mamiya, but then Kenshiro stops him.

He hits pressure points on his head, and tells them that if they want water, they should dig for it themselves. And if they want food, plow a field and plant it. But as they're hyenas who won't do that, they'll just steal from others. Kenshiro lets the guy go, but his head blows apart seconds later. The other Fangs say they won't let him get away with what he just did, and tell him to observe their Chinese martial arts group attack technique: Kazan gunrou ken (Huashan wolf pack fist).

The Fangs surround Kenshiro, and start howling. They all go to attack him, but he starts hitting pressure points and smashing them all out of the way.

HOKUTO HONSHA BAKURETSU KEN

(North Star Spinning Explosive Fist)

The Fangs all fall to the ground, and as they start to get back up, they explode. One remaining guy calls Kenshiro a monster for killing so many of his brothers, and says the entire Fang clan is now his enemy. Kenshiro tells him to prattle on all he wants in hell -he's already dead.

The last Fang's head blows apart. The villagers stand in awe of Kenshiro, as Mamiya realizes this technique is the infamous North Star divine fist!

Kenshiro starts to walk off, but she asks him to wait -she wants him to stay here, and protect this village for them! She says he has to, as it's his fault that they have to deal with the Fangs now. Bat asks her to wait a second -if she wants to talk about protection services, she needs to come to him, Kenshiro's manager! Meanwhile, Kemada sees that his brothers are all dead. He swears that he'll kill Kenshiro!

Elsewhere, at another village, a woman is being chased by four men, who want to have some fun with her. One of them rips part of her cloak, revealing her face...

They think she's going to be a pretty one, and one of them says they've got lots of food. If she plays nice with them, they'll give her some. The woman turns out to be a man, who says that if that's the case, he'll take their food right now! The man says that whenever he disguises himself, perverts like them inevitably show up. But they do serve a purpose, because they always bring food to him. The men ask just who the hell is this guy.

The man says that his name is Rei -Rei, of the South Star waterfowl fist school! One of them men runs towards him, but Rei uses cuts through the air...

...and swipes across the guy's face. Four lines are seen over the guy's face, as Rei leaps away, having used the same technique on two of the other men.

Their heads are sliced open and break apart, killing all three of them. The one remaining man says this really is the South Star waterfowl fist!

NANTO SUICHO KEN

(South Star Waterfowl Fist)

Its movements are graceful just like a bird floating on the water. However, its power and cruelty as a killing technique are unmatched.

The last punk standing brings out some nunchaku, saying no-one can stand up to his skills with these. Rei says he'll be the first, and the two clash. Rei uses one of his techniques...

...and gets right by him. The punk realizes that his arms have been sliced off, as Rei says he dropped these. He tosses him his arms back, and says that he can't counter his movements.

Rei then rips the guy's shirt open, but sees what he's looking for isn't there. He asks him if he knows of a man with seven scars on his chest. The man says he doesn't, so Rei says he has no further use for him. But he will take care of that food he has. He uses the same technique again, which splits the guy's head apart.

Rei stands over the guys he's defeated, and takes some of their food. As he starts to eat, he thinks that until he kills the man with seven scars, he'll even eat mud to survive!
