Hyoh vowed eternal loyalty to Kaioh, and turned into a Demon. Those who defied Kaioh have been killed by Hyoh's hands, and their villages have been burned to the ground. They now call him the second Demon Hyoh, second only to Kaioh.

Hyoh: Ha ha ha ha!

The Ruthless Hyoh and His Sad Army!
Who Will Stop Him!!

Nagato and some Asuras look down on a burning village below them. Nagato says that Hyoh has changed, and whilst he has served him as his number one aide, he no longer understand his intentions. He wonders why Hyoh has changed. He can remember when he first met him, when he was just a mere Asura...

A family try to leave the Land of Asura in a boat. But they are spotted by Kaioh, along with a group of Asuras. Kaioh tells the father he's not allowed to leave. The father asks for forgiveness, as he and his family were just leaving to try and find a peaceful land.

Kaioh says the Land of Asura is his land, and those who defy him will die. The father drops to his knees and says he doesn't care what happens to himself, he just wants his family to be spared. Kaioh refuses to listen, and goes to strike him.

However, Hyoh stops him. Hyoh says that these people will never return here, and will likely perish in the deep sea. He asks Kaioh for no more punishments.

Nagato watches, and thinks that Lord Hyoh's eyes are filled with a deep sorrow.

Back in the present, Nagato says he had believed that Hyoh would defeat Kaioh, and some day become the savior of this land. One of the Asuras says that now Hyoh has vowed eternal loyalty to Kaioh. Nagato says they can no longer fight under this flag. He breaks the flag pole.

Elsewhere, Kenshiro and Shachi and walking through a desert. Part of Shachi's arm explodes, as he realizes it must have been from when Kaioh attacked him. Kenshiro asks him if he's been hiding this, but Shachi says he's alright. He tells Kenshiro they must hurry and get to Kaioh.

Shachi attempts to walk, but then part of his leg explodes, causing him to fall. Kenshiro picks him up, but then notices someone heading their way.

It's Nagato, who immediately recognizes Kenshiro. Kenshiro tells him that if he knows who he is, then he should hurry and decide: fight or leave. Nagato looks into Kenshiro's eyes.

He takes them back to his village. In his home, his father, Petero, tends to Shachi, and says that if he sleeps through the night, his pain will yield. Nagato says there is no wound that can't be healed by his father's medicine. Nagato's sons, Tetsu and Yom, say that when their father gets hurt, that's what he uses. But since he's strong, he doesn't need it that often.

Nagato says that this is his clan's village, and tells Kenshiro to rest here as long as he likes. Later on, Nagato checks on his sons. Tetsu thought his father had already gone back to the castle, but he then goes back to sleep. Nagato goes outside his home.

His father appears, and asks him about Kenshiro and Shachi, the men who fought Kaioh -why bring them here? Nagato says he doesn't know, but the look in Kenshiro's eyes... they had a gleam of sadness, just like Hyoh's used to have. He feels he perhaps wants to stake the future of this land on Kenshiro. Petero tells his son he won't say anything, if that's what he's decided. He tells him it has been a while, and asks why he's returned at a time like this.

Nagato doesn't answer, but says he must go. He tells his father that if he doesn't return, he wants him to take care of his sons. Tomorrow, he's going to risk his life to voice his opinion to Lord Hyoh, for the first and last time, as it's his duty. He tells his father he's sorry, and then walks off.

The next morning, Hyoh rides through a town, his evil fighting spiritual energy flowing freely out of him. He comes across Nagato and a group of Asuras, and asks him what's wrong. But he then notices the broken flag on the ground, the flag of his army.

Nagato tells him that they have come to state their parting from him. He explains that they had always thought that one day, he would wake up and defeat Kaioh, which is why they'd served him to this day.

The Asuras tell Hyoh that he has become a Demon, just like Kaioh. In doing so, their hope for this land has been sealed. They all say that they've lost the will to live in this land. Hyoh asks them if that's all they've got to say.

They stand up, and say farewell. But he throws four blades out, which strike through the Asuras, and kill them all.

Hyoh says this is the land of Kaioh, and those who don't obey Kaioh will die -no exceptions. Nagato tells him he's changed too much, and asks what happened to the light that he used to have. He pulls out a weapon.

He thinks of the better times he had serving under Hyoh, and then starts to cry. Hyoh thinks his tears are pitiful, as who would fight bearing sadness? Nagato tells him he used to, he used to cry deep in his heart every time he fought. He leaps towards Hyoh.

Hyoh strikes Nagato with one hand, and cuts him in half. Nagato's body is burned up by Hyoh's evil fighting spiritual energy.

Hyoh says that no matter where you look, you won't find a single tear in him. Nearby, Kaioh has been watching, and is pleased that Hyoh's evil fighting spiritual energy has blown away that deeply rooted compassion in Hyoh's body. He says there's nothing for him to worry about regarding Hyoh's battle with Kenshiro now.

Later on, Hyoh orders his men to go and burn down the traitor Nagato's village. The Asuras start their attack, and set fire to many buildings, along with killing any villagers they find. Hyoh laughs and says to kill everyone.

Some Asuras find Nagato's family. Petero asks why the Asuras are doing this, as they are the family of Nagato. The Asuras say they are more than aware, and promise to make this quick. Petero realizes something has happened to his son. One of the Asuras says that Lord Kaioh and Lord Hyoh think and act as one, those who don't pledge their loyalty to Kaioh will be killed, along with their families. He then confirms that Hyoh has killed Nagato. Petero attacks the Asura, but he tells him to go and meet his son in hell.

He stabs Petero, who falls down. The Asuras then go to kill the children, but one of them ends up hitting one of his own guys.

He can't tell what's going on, but then explodes. The Asuras watch as someone comes through the fire. Shachi then also jumps down, apologizing for being late.

Kenshiro walks through the flames. He immediately attacks the Asuras, taking them all out before they can fight back. They all end up exploding.

Kenshiro's group move outside. Shachi says that Petero is probably going to make it. Yom asks why Hyoh's forces attacked their village. Petero says that Hyoh did not listen to what Nagato had to say.

He says that Hyoh was the one who took his son's life. Kenshiro gets up and starts to walk off, so Shachi asks him if he's going to where Hyoh is so he can fight him. Kenshiro nods.

Shachi thinks that Hyoh is Kenshiro's brother, is it their unavoidable fate to fight? He wonders if Kenshiro can defeat his true brother. He tells Kenshiro he must not fight Hyoh. Kenshiro asks why.

Shachi tells Kenshiro that Hyoh is his brother, and asks him if he will still go. Kenshiro is taken aback...

...but then says that he will, even if Hyoh is his brother. Because he is his brother, he must defeat him with his own fists!
