Kyle will head back to Barfly and talk to Vanessa. She suggests that he goes and finds 2-Ill, who might have more info about this hotel the Stiff is supposed to be at. Kyle isn't sure this is a good idea, but decides to try it out. When you regain control of Kyle, head back towards the steps near the porn theater. When you reach them, 2-Ill happens to be standing around nearby.

Go and talk to 2-Ill. He'll run off, as he has his own problems -as a gang of punks go after him! Quickly follow them and help 2-Ill out. 2-Ill has his own health bar, and you'll get a game over if he is defeated. An absolute ton of punks come in this section so make good use of the instinct meter to deal with them quickly. After the punks have been defeated, 2-Ill will congratulate Kyle on the skills he has. Kyle wants info, but 2-Ill wants to know what Kyle has for him.

Get a load of this guy. Calls himself 2-Ill. Hell if I know what it means. I do know he's been kickin' around these parts since I was a kid. And man, I've grown to hate this guy. But I can't deny, he does know shit, and he can get shit. I just never thought I'd be one of his... customers.

Kyle argues that he just saved 2-Ill's life, so he should give him a break. 2-Ill says he's heard what happened to Cody, and that what they saw here just now isn't anything to what he'll see down at the pier. He tells him the hotel he needs to find is the Bijou Hotel. There is a whole lot of nasty stuff going on at that place, and Kyle will find The Stiff on the top floor -but he'll also find a lot of trouble before he can get to him. 2-Ill says Kyle can come to him if he ever needs help. Bear this is mind as if you find 2-Ill anywhere on the streets, you can buy weapons from him. Anyway, when you can control Kyle, head back to the steps and go up them.

The steps lead to the subway station, where you'll need to use one of the yellow machines to buy a ticket (which costs $10). Go and board the train. It will take you to the pier district, but as you get off the train, a gang will attack you.

Near the exit (next to the steps) are some more punks, take them out to defeat the subway gang. Head up the steps to enter the pier district, which is the darkest area of the game yet. Thankfully the hotel is the largest building around and also the best lit, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it. But the front door is locked.

Near the door's right are some punks you might want to get rid of now. Otherwise head to the left and head down the alley, where there are several more punks to beat up. Once they are out of the way, continue down the alley and head towards the back door.

The door is locked, but there is a way of opening it. You'll need to light up 9 lights within 3 "steps". Get used to these puzzles, as there are several more of them to come. Once the door is unlocked, you can head through to a small garden area. There are several of Stiff's guards here, along with a new type of enemy: dogs. After beating all the enemies you'll find a key which you can use to open the hotel's back door.

Inside the lobby there are some more guards to beat up. Check the small rooms for items, then head down the corridor. There is one guard and a couple of dogs to take out. After that, start checking the doors in the corridor -most of them are locked, but one isn't. Inside this room is a single guard, defeat him and then take the elevator key located on some drawers.

Leave the room and head back down the corridor. Then enter the elevator. The elevator will take you up to the third floor of the hotel. When you arrive on the third floor, you need to turn around to be going the correct way -but if you move forward instead, you'll encounter some more guards. Some of these are armed with pistols, which you can take and use to kill them quickly. Some of the doors in the corridor are locked, but a couple aren't. If you enter these rooms you'll find a few items.

If you turn around at the elevator and head down the other end of the corridor, there are a couple more guys to taken down. There is a single door at the bottom of the corridor you'll have to open, so you can head through a room and appear in another corridor. There is another guard here, kill him and then move on to arrive at the fire exit. Head through the fire exit...

...to arrive on floor 4. Head down the corridor to encounter several guards, many of which are armed with pistols. Get these weapons from them and start shooting to kill them all quickly.

Continue down the corridor to find a door next to some signs. Go through this door and you'll appear in a room with a single guard in it. Defeat this guy to pick up the key to the adjoining room. This lets you unlock the room's other door, head through it to arrive in yet another corridor. This one doesn't have much of interest in it aside from another fire exit. Head through it to head up to the next floor.

When Kyle reaches floor 5, he makes a surprised discovery: a guy with glowing green eyes! This guy stumbles towards him, telling Kyle how he needs to tell the man that "this is some wicked shit!". The guy says he feels like he can pick up a bus.

Look at his eyes! What the hell is this freak trippin' on? And what's he doin' here?

When the cutscene ends, the guy will attack you. This floor of the hotel is full of these powerful enemies, so make good use of any weapons you can find. One of the rooms on this floor has a door barred up. Smash the bars with your attacks to break it down, and then head through it.

When you leave this room you'll be in another corridor, full of the drug using enemies along with more of Stiff's guards. There is a shotgun in this corridor, which is fairly easy to find and is very useful in this section. Once all the enemies in the corridor are dealt with, you'll need to find a door to the right of some yellow caution signs. Head through it to arrive in a small room with a couple of enemies in it.

To the right of the bed is a door, head through it to arrive in another room. Take out the enemies in this new room, and then you have a choice: either go through the door on the left, or the one on the right. The left door leads to another small corridor, with another couple of rooms to enter. There are a few enemies on the way, but also several bonus items. Going through the right door however will quickly lead you to another fire exit.

You'll arrive on the penthouse floor. This floor has several dogs in it, and are quite annoying to fight against, especially if they surround you. Stomp on them all and after doing that, you'll find that the penthouse room is locked. So instead, head to the smaller red door and use the panel next to it.

You'll have to unlock this door by lighting up the 9 buttons. When the door is unlocked, Kyle heads through it and arrives on the roof of the hotel. He finds a couple of guys up there and after pushing one off, he tackles the other and they both crash through a window.

The two land in Stiff's penthouse suite, and smash through a table. The guard hasn't survived but Kyle has, as he and Stiff pull out guns and aim them at each other. Kyle wants to know where Cody is, but Stiff has no interest in telling him until Kyle pulls out the Bible. Stiff realizes that Weasel has messed up, but decides to make Kyle a deal.

Kyle passes Stiff the Bible. Stiff takes it and pulls out a small key, which he uses to release the lock. Stiff then tells Kyle that his brother is stuck in the glory days, doing whatever he can to get back in the ring. He even asked him if he could hook him up with Vito Bracca. Kyle says that Stiff is a liar.

Stiff says he knew Kyle wouldn't get it, and says that their meeting is over. He starts firing, and then you'll resume control of Kyle. A boss battle then begins, as Stiff will primarily use a pistol against you. But if you get in close quickly and land a combo that knocks him down, he'll drop his gun, allowing you to pick it up. Stiff has some close range moves of his own, but he usually uses his gun. However his other major technique is his dodges -he can quickly move out of the way of attacks made to him, even gun shots. He won't use this technique all of the time, thankfully.

Once you've battered Stiff around enough, he'll make a run for it, but Kyle goes after him. The two end up on the roof, where they once again end up pointing guns at each other. Stiff says he thought Kyle let his fists do the talking, so Kyle suggests they should lose their weapons. He wasn't looking to kill Stiff anyway, only beat the crap out of him until he tells him what he needs to know. Stiff obliges and the fight resumes. Stiff no longer uses a gun, so he's actually easier to beat here.

Stiff still has a few tricks though, such as a charging move and a couple of punch combos. He will also still use his dodging technique, but even so he's pretty easy to hit. Keep pounding away at him, but don't stay close if you knock him down -he'll get up quickly and will always use a kick if you are still standing beside him.

Once Stiff has been defeated, Kyle uppercuts him off the roof. He stops him from falling, but demands he reveals what info he has about his brother's whereabouts. Stiff tells Kyle that he should go and talk to Vito. He should ask Vito why Cody is in Little Italy, doing anything to fight again. He then says that Kyle may be full of hate, but he doesn't see a killer in his eyes. He tells Kyle to pull him back up, now.

And to make sure he does, Stiff pulls out another gun and gives Kyle three seconds. He starts to count, but as he reaches 3, Kyle drops him and quickly backs off. Stiff shoots, but his shots all miss, and he falls to his death.
