This is my bro Cody. A local hero, but he don't fight anymore. Back in the day, he was the man. He's kind of a hardass, but he's always been there for me.

"You gonna let this no good piece o' trash play you like that?!"



"Damn! That looked good! This is too easy!"



That arrogant shit-sack over there... that's Handsome Bob. Handsome, my ass.



That bloody-looking guy in the corner...that's me. Can't say that this is my most shining moment...but everyone say's I've got all this potential. Potential's good. I'm feeling good about being potentially good.

Bob will taunt Kyle, but Kyle gets up to resume the fight. This is where you take control of Kyle. Your first task of Final Fight Streetwise is to defeat Handsome Bob. The fight takes place in a small arena with four walls. Try out some of Kyle's basic moves and combos here -pressing the heavy attack button three times in a row is a simple but decent three hit combo that will knock Bob down easily.

If you knock Bob down, walk over to him and press either of the attack buttons to perform a stomp or kick. But move back as he gets up, as he'll often use a lunging punch to try and get you. Aside from that, Bob has a few punches and kicks, but he's slow to attack and you should be able to K.O. him pretty easily. Do so and you'll win some money.

After the fight, Kyle has a drink outside, and some of the crowd congratulate him on his win. As they walk off, Cody walks in, and tosses Kyle his fight money. He suggests they meet up at Barfly to celebrate in half an hour. Kyle asks why not now, but Cody says he has things to do. He doesn't go into any specifics, and walks off.

When you regain control of Kyle, you'll only be able to go a few steps forward before some punks arrive in a van and want to kill you. As well as using your fists to defeat them, there is a plank of wood you can pick up and use to batter the guys around. After defeating them, move on down the alley to arrive on some streets.

Before you get to Barfly, talk to the woman in black next to the small basketball court. If you want, you can accept a side mission where you need to find her missing brother. Take this mission on as it is a quick and easy way to earn some cash. Anyway, head past this woman and you'll see the Barfly building, and also some punks outside it who want your prize money. Take them out, although be careful as one has a knife.

After they've been dealt with, don't go into Barfly just yet. Instead, go past it and keep heading down the street until you see some more punks bullying a boy in blue. Defeat these guys and then talk to the boy. He'll run off back to his sister. Head back to the woman in black and she'll thank you before giving you some cash as a reward for finding her brother.

Head back to Barfly and enter it. Kyle will call out to his girlfriend Vanessa, and start playing pool with her. She says that he must have had a little trouble tonight and tells him to be careful, as she likes his face the way it is. Although good girls like herself do enjoy a little bit of trouble now and then.

Vanessa Sims. What more can I tell you about her that you can't see for yourself? She's sexy AND tough. Not a bad combination.

Vanessa will proceed to kick Kyle's butt in the pool game and then go behind the bar to get a drink for him. As she does that, Cody appears, although he's late. Cody takes a seat and tells Kyle that he's thinking about fighting again.

Kyle is not happy to hear this -they've been through this before. Cody thinks he has something that can help, but Kyle reminds his brother that his knees are weak and will prevent him from fighting. Cody doesn't want to sit on the sidelines, and Kyle wonders if this is to do with his performance against Bob tonight. Cody says Kyle is one of the best fighters he's seen, but he's tired of waiting for him. He's been a fighter all of his life, and without the fight, he's nothing. Just then a man Cody seems to know walks in. His name is Stiff and he says that they weren't finished yet. Cody refuses to go with him and his men, so Stiff decides to do things his own way.

The Stiff? Who the hell is this?! Better yet, what kind of shit has Cody stepped into? One thing's for sure. This guy means business. Something stinks!

The Stiff's men will then invade the bar, and you'll need to defeat them all. Cody will help out, and you can use things like barstools and pool cues as weapons. Some of the men will be armed with baseball bats, which you can take from them. After defeating the men, a cutscene will start. Kyle and Cody go to confront The Stiff, but he pulls out a gun.

The Stiff doesn't shoot Kyle, but instead knocks him out by hitting him on the head with his gun. When Kyle wakes up, he's at Vanessa's place. She says she's OK, but the men took Cody.

Kyle says that he's going to have to find Cody. Vanessa warns him that this isn't just another one of Cody's street brawls, this looks way more serious. That man could have killed him! Kyle says that he's got to do this, so Vanessa reluctantly gives him something one of the men dropped last night: a matchbook from Metro Diner. Kyle thanks her and then leaves.

You'll want to go to Metro Diner next, but there are some side missions you can do. If you head back to the small basketball court, you'll see a woman being harassed by some punk. The punk will take her purse and then run off, so run after him and you'll encounter several punks to fight. Beat them all and you'll get the purse back. Head back to the basketball court.

Talk to the woman to give her back her purse. She'll give you some money as a reward. Head to Metro Diner next -you can't really miss the building as it says "-METRO-" above it in large orange letters. Once inside, go and talk to the the lady behind the counter -she says that Stiff was here, but she won't say anything else until this roach problem is fixed! Either help her out yourself or pay her $50 to have an exterminator do it.

After the cockroaches are dead, the lady will tell you that she saw Stiff with Nicky Wissell, better known as "Weasel". He's the porn theater manager, so you need to go and pay him a visit. Exit the diner and head straight towards the gym -there is a small alley you can run through next to it, head down that. When you see some steps, take a left to find the porn theater. There will be some punks outside it you'll have to fight off.

Once you are inside the theater, talk to the guy behind the counter. He hates his boss, but is also bored, and suggests an arm wrestling contest. Just go along with what he wants as he's easy to beat, and will open the door to Weasel's room when you win. Before you head upstairs, take a look around the theater itself, as you can find some cash items to take.

When you head upstairs, you'll find that Weasel is in the projection room, having a job done. He gets annoyed when Kyle enters -this had better be good!

Nicky Wissell. They call him the Weasel. I think you can see why. 100%, grade-A slime. Normally I wouldn't bother with such trash, but for reasons that escape me, the little turd's got a bit of a following. Go figure.

Weasel claims he's never head of The Stiff, and orders Kyle to leave. However, Kyle spots a bible with a label on it, which quite clearly states the name "Stiff". Weasel isn't sure what to do until he starts running around the room in panic. Punch him a few times.

Kyle will put Weasel's head in the door frame and needs to smack the door shut a few times. Keep mashing the heavy attack button, then when the bar changes color to yellow, press the light attack button. Kyle will slam the door on Weasel's head. Do this three times and Weasel will decide to talk. He tells Kyle that Stiff is waiting to see him in the warehouse behind the diner. Kyle wonders if he is telling the truth, but Weasel swears he isn't telling a lie and even lets Kyle take the bible marked for Stiff's attention.

The next place to go is the warehouse. There are a few punks to fight on the way, and you'll be on the right track if you come across a wall with a large hole in it. Proceed onwards and you'll find the warehouse.

Once inside, Weasel appears and says Kyle has fucked with the wrong guy! He traps Kyle in an arena surrounded by boxes, and then sends in a load of men to fight him. These guys are often armed with weapons, such as baseball bats, but the majority of them are the basic punks who will go down without putting up much of a fight. Watch out for Weasel though -he will keep using a crane to drop boxes on you. Move out of the way of the shadow the boxes make before they are dropped.

When all of his men are defeated, Weasel will enter the battle by driving around in a small forklift truck. He'll try and run you over, but move out of the way and he'll crash into some boxes. Run up and attack him from behind, but pay attention -when the truck's red light turns on, back off as Weasel will go into reverse to try and run you over.

Once Weasel has been beaten, Kyle will grab him, but then Weasel's phone goes off. Kyle forces him to answer it and realizes that Stiff is the one calling. Kyle snatches the phone and listens, as Stiff asks for the bible to be taken to him. As Stiff hangs up, Weasel tells Kyle to go on and meet with Stiff, but warns that Stiff has killed more people that he's banged broads. Kyle punches Weasel one more time for good measure.
