Final Fight CD has a new gameplay mode: time attack. This mode has you pick a character, and then you must try and beat as many enemies as possible within the time limit. You only have 2 lives to get by, and there are no items or weapons to obtain in any of the stages, other than the knives El Gados will drop. This mode can be played with one or two players. Each character has their own stage.

Guy's stage is set on a bridge, and I think it is the best of the lot. In this mode, enemies will start off weak and basic (such as lots of Simons and Breds) but the longer you last, the more difficult it becomes. You'll soon start coming across the tougher enemies, such as the Andores.

Cody's stage is set in a parking lot. If there's one thing to complain about for these new stages, it has to be the fact that there is no background animation in any of them at all -the people next to the cars are as still as statues.

Finally, we have Haggar's stage, which is set in Metro City's China Town.
