A single carrier pigeon heads into the mountains. There, it arrives at a castle among the cliffs and heads to a man called Shuren. Taking the note it had, Shuren reads it and learns that Hyui has been killed in his battle against Ken-Oh.

Upon reading this note, Shuren tells his troops to set the castle ablaze in Hyui's honor. With no home for them to return to, the time for the Crimson army to take action has finally come. Their enemy is Ken-Oh! They will kill him and avenge Hyui. With his troops hyped up, Shuren tells everyone to move out.

Rihaku tells the last Nanto General that Shuren has begun to move, and with his burning anger, he will defeat Ken-Oh. Elsewhere, Raoh is out wondering about recent events. There are five chariot stars -the wind, the clouds, the flame, the mountains and the ocean. He has killed one of them in his fight with Hyui, but what of the other four? The next morning we see that Bat, Lin and Kenshiro are out for a drive across a desert.

Nearby is another car -but after doing a series of crazy stunts, it crashes. The owner of the car, Morgan, steps out and his buddies ride up on their bikes. Morgan isn't happy as the car wasn't at a high enough standard for him to drive, so he kills the guy who was working on it for his sloppy work.

Morgan starts to move off again, but Bat can soon see him. Morgan is a really bad driver, and slides all over the desert. Lin tells Bat not to do anything reckless, but he says he doesn't have a choice -with driving as bad as that, he needs to get past him now. Bat sees an opening and accelerates, getting past Morgan and waving to him as he drives by. Morgan is insulted by this and starts to put his foot down to catch up.

But then his car runs out of gas. He tells his two remaining lackeys to go after it as by passing him, it was an insult to Ken-Oh's vanguard, who Morgan is the leader of. However they lose track of the car and have to report their failings to Morgan. Their leader isn't impressed and tells them to go and destroy the car and to not return here until they carry out the deed. If they fail him again he'll have his hammer-wielding body guards kill them both.

Later on that night, the two punks find where the car is and see that nobody is in it -Bat and the others have set up a camp nearby. Getting some rope, they attach a hook to the back of the car and slowly start to drag it towards them...

...and seconds later, it is set on fire! As Bat and friends run over, the punks say that this is what they get for upsetting Lord Morgan. They then drive off as Bat has to look at his pride and joy being reduced to ashes. The next morning, the three head into Morgan's town and find it to be quite a desolate place.

The reason people are hiding is because Morgan is driving through the town. He crashes into a wall and after pulling his car back he blames two nearby villagers -it was there fault that wall was in the way, they built it!

After killing them both, an older villager begs Morgan to stop -at this rate he'll kill everyone! Morgan ignores his request and gives him the boot. Bat and Lin try to help him, as he tells them that his daughter and grandson were both killed when Morgan ran them over. Not pleased with the old man telling stories, Morgan's men kill him by shooting him with an arrow. Bat gets angry, but the men just laugh at him.

Meanwhile Morgan has gotten back in his vehicle and has resumed his terrible driving. He sees Kenshiro standing in the middle of the road, but just drives straight towards him. However, Ken grabs his car and brings it to a halt, so Morgan gets out as all of his troops appear.

Morgan tells his men to kill this idiot whilst he cleans the bonnet of his car. As they go to attack, Morgan starts to clean, but after a few seconds he turns around and sees that all his men are dead! He then realises that this guy must be Kenshiro, and this fact makes him terrified.

He calls upon his two body guards, who leap down from above with their giant hammers, but as they do that, Ken leaps up and kicks their weapons out of their hands. As they all land, Ken hits pressure points on each man, which makes their heads bulge up, but before they can explode, they are both crushed by the falling hammers.

Morgan is at least smart enough to know when to leave, and decides to do so. But as he drives off, Bat appears and reveals that he has done some maintenance on his car. Morgan suddenly realises that something is up when he pulls the steering wheel off.

A few seconds later, Morgan crashes and is killed when his car explodes. Bat thinks that justice has been done, whilst Lin thinks he overdid it. Elsewhere, a bunch of Ken-Oh's troops are at the outskirts of a city talking about how great it'll be when their master finally takes over, as they'll be able to do whatever they want.

Without warning many of them are suddenly killed when a barrage of fire arrows hit the camp. The survivors demand to know who is there and at some nearby cliffs, Shuren and his army appear.

Shuren says that he is one of the five chariot stars, sworn to protect the last Nanto General! Leaping down, two of the troops say that if he's part of this chariot thing then they have orders to kill him! Wasting no time, they both charge towards Shuren.
