Red Letter Media's Star Wars Episode I & II reviews (Youtube)

When I first started watching his Phantom Menace review, I thought it was going to be another one of those angry reviewer type things but it quickly evolved into something far greater than that. What we have here is a fantastic breakdown of both movies which just show how terrible they are in a completely hilarious manner. One of my favourite jokes was the Jedi's at the door before Darth Maul in the Attack of the Clones review, plus some of the stuff is just saddening at times -such as the part where a younger George Lucas says how boring special effects are. Check them out here: Phantom Menace - Attack of the Clones, I'd also take a look at his Star Trek reviews.

If you don't like his voice I'd suggest pretending he's Dr. Zoidberg.

Star Wars (DVD)

Well, this is always a pleasure to watch so I won't go off about how great it is. I watched the original version first and then the next day I watched the 2004 Special Edition. The S.E. version was mostly full of either pointless stuff (extra stuff in Mos Eisley), stupid stuff (Han shot first) or both (the Jabba scene). The only thing I can say I liked about the S.E. was the at the end with the space battle scene. The special effects in the original hadn't aged that well but the S.E. improved on them quite a bit. Other than that though I'm fine with the original version.

Fist of the North Star (DVD)

I watched the rest of the episodes Manga Entertainment released, which was from Kenshiro and Shin's fight up to Amiba's death. Again I watched the English dub and it wasn't anything special. The new music was also annoying as it came nowhere near to matching the greatness of the Japanese version. Anyway after Shin's death the Fang clan arc started which I was never a fan of due to it going on for far too long (7 episodes), although it did at least introduce Rei, one of the coolest characters. Things also improved when Jagi was introduced and then the story started to progress with Amiba...then he gets killed and that was it as far as Manga Entertainment were concerned. I'm really looking forward to DiscoTek's DVD sets so I can get the entire series.
