The first part of this stage takes place on a large bridge. A few seconds in you'll encounter a new type of enemy, who is a ninja with two swords. These enemies take more than one hit to kill (unless you are powered up) and can move pretty quickly, thanks to the huge jumps they can make. They are also good at deflecting shuriken, which usually means a close-range attack will be needed to kill them. Some of the hostages here are located in dangerous places, such as the bottom of the bridge, on small platforms. Time your jump so you land next to the enemy rather than on them, as you can end up falling off the bridge if you aren't careful.

Several of the hostages have the shield carrying enemies guarding them, so have Yamato ready to attack them when the time is right. Near the exit a golden variant of the blue ninja will appear, but he attacks in the same way as the other one.

As you move along the second part of the stage, a large attack helicopter will pass above you -remember this for the next stage. There is a fence here you'll have to leap over to get to some of the hostages, but a red ninja variant will also start appearing here. Like the blue and gold types, the red ninjas like to leap around a lot and it can be tough to take them down here due to the soldiers on the containers. Try leaping back over the fence to lure the ninjas into following you, making them easier to kill.

There is a part with a hostage between two boxes. When you rescue him, several of the ninjas will appear and immediately jump high into the air before landing in the middle. Quickly move to the left or right to avoid being hit, then take them out at close-range. After defeating them the rest of the stage is fairly straight forward.

The boss of this level, simply called The Wall, is a monster with a head and two arms. His head is his weak spot, but his arms will protect his head by extending across part of the screen, and then dropping to the ground.

The head will keep warping around parts of the wall, with the arms following seconds later. It is best to move away from the head, let the arms extend and drop, and then throw a few shuriken at the head before it warps. The boss will go down easily with this method.
