There is a glitch in the prototype where one of the laser cannons on the left side doesn't come down far enough, making it impossible to jump on from the railing. This was fixed for the final so it comes down all the way.

One of the right wall laser cannons could move a greater distance in the prototype compared to the final.

This item box was moved to the left for the final. In the prototype, it contains a small life item, in the final, it contains a 5 shuriken item. The laser cannon on the right side wall here can travel a much greater distance in the proto, the track was significantly shortened for the final.

The prototype has a moving platform at this part, making it much easier to move upwards. It was removed from the final, and you have to jump on a laser cannon to the left to progress.

The proto has a bomb in the left item box, and the laser cannon on the left wall can move very high up. In the final, the item box contains a small life item, whilst the left wall cannon can't move up as high.

A grenade throwing soldier was added to this part for the final version.

In the prototype, this part has a larger platform, along with a single soldier to the left and two stacked boxes. In the final, the platform was shortened, the soldier was moved to the right and given grenades, and the boxes aren't stacked.

Towards the end of this section, the prototype has some very long platforms next to the freeway. These were greatly shortened for the final.

The background during the boss fight is missing in the prototype. The vehicle was given darker colors in the final, as was the fence. The road is slightly different in the prototype as it has red lines on it, which the final does not. Finally the green parts of the missile are more detailed in the prototype than they are in the final.
