Hasbro was the company Capcom went with to make some Street Fighter action figures. Hasbro were most likely chosen due to their extremely popular G.I. Joe line, and when the Street Fighter figures were released, they had the G.I. Joe brand name on the packaging. The toys have become notorious within the SF community for how silly they were, as each character came with weapons -do you remember that special move Ryu had where he pulled out a sword and sliced Blanka's face off? No? Well, that was what these figures would have you to believe. G.I. Joe fans weren't pleased with this line either, seeing it as part of the franchise's dark age.
As well as stabbing weapons, a good number of the figures came with non-firing guns. Vehicles were also released that the figures could fit in, such as the Shadaloo Crimson Cruiser and Guile's Sonic Boom tank. Perhaps what this toy line is best remembered for are the advertisements.
