U.S. Gold released the Amiga version of Street Fighter II in 1992. Massively hyped up, everyone was expecting something great as the Amiga hardware was more than capable of having an accurate version of the game, and it should have been at least as good as the Super Nintendo version.
Then it was released, people started playing it and then the screaming began. Amiga Street Fighter II is just a joke, with choppy animation, awful gameplay, limited music and other problems. Even though it sucked so much, the game went straight to the top of the Amiga charts when it was released.
I guess people were really desperate to play the game in their own home and couldn't afford a SNES. The reason for this version being bad is most likely either U.S. Gold rushing it out, or just not having competent programmers to get the game running properly.
