Street Fighter Collection 2 was released in 1998, and includes the first three versions of the Street Fighter II series: The World Warrior, Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting. In Japan, this collection was called Capcom Generation 5.

This version of Hyper Fighting is as close to the arcade version as you could hope for, but it does have load times between each fight. They aren't as annoyingly long as in the first Street Fighter Collection, but once again, the SEGA Saturn version has faster load times.

It also has a couple of extra features, such as a training mode, a gallery and a mode which lets you pick different versions of each character and fight each other -such as Hyper Fighting Guile against Champion Edition Vega. This concept would be expanded upon greatly in Hyper Street Fighter II. This version of the game would also be reused on Capcom Classics Collection, which is available on Playstation 2, Playstation Portable and Xbox.
