This version of the game was part of Street Fighter Collection, which also included versions of Super Street Fighter II and Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold . It was released in 1997 and was also available for the Playstation.

This version has everything you'd expect (except for a training mode) and the code to unlock Akuma has been made much easier -you can now simply highlight Ryu, press the L and R buttons together and Akuma will appear. The CPU difficulty has also been toned down, making the game much easier to play through compared to the original arcade game.

In my opinion this is better than the Playstation port, as the load times are much faster in this version. It is my favorite version of the game, out of the ones I own. If you have a Saturn, get Street Fighter Collection.
