Ryu
Ryu has had a couple of great additions to his basic move set, with his new overheard punch being a very effective move. His dragon punch has been toned down though, but he at least has a great super combo to make up for it.

Special moves
HADOUKEN
(QCF+P)
Ryu's standard fireball projectile. The speed of it is dependant on which punch button is pressed.
SHAKUNETSU HADOUKEN
(HCF+P)
This red fireball will set the opponent on fire if it connects. At close range, it will make the opponent fall over.
SHORYUKEN
(F, D, DF+P)
Ryu's dragon punch isn't quite as good as in previous games as it isn't as invincible as before. It is still one of his most effective moves though.
TATSU MAKI SEN PU KYAKU
(QCB+K, air also)
This spin kick can only hit the opponent once. The air version can be performed whilst either jumping up or when going back down from a jump.
SUPER COMBO: SHINKUU HADOUKEN
(QCF, QCF+P)
A much more powerful fireball which can do up to 5 hits.
Throws
STRONG & FIERCE PUNCH
Ryu throws the opponent over his shoulder.
FORWARD & ROUNDHOUSE KICK
Ryu uses one of his legs to send the opponent flying.
Changes
FORWARD STRONG PUNCH
By holding forward and pressing the strong punch button, Ryu will now do an overhead punch which can hit twice. This cannot be blocked low.
JUMPING STRONG PUNCH
When jumping forward or backward, Ryu's strong punch is a two hit uppercut, you can use this to juggle the opponent in the air. Say your opponent jumps towards you and you use this move, but it only hits once. You can land, jump again and use this move to hit the opponent again.
FORWARD FIERCE PUNCH
By holding forward and pressing the fierce punch button, Ryu will now do a lunging punch which can hit twice.
