This version of the game was part of Street Fighter Collection, which also included versions of Super Street Fighter II and Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold . This version was welcomed by many, because it was released on a console that most people had.
This version has everything you'd expect (except for a training mode) and the code to unlock Akuma has been made much easier -you can now simply highlight Ryu, press the L1 and R1 buttons together and Akuma will appear. The CPU difficulty has also been toned down, making the game much easier to play through compared to the original arcade game.
My views on this port are that it seems fairly good, but the load times are surprisingly long and I'd rather just play the Saturn version for that reason. However, this version has been frowned upon by tournament players due to some differences it has when compared to the arcade version. Check out this list on SRK -the stuff on there won't mean anything to a lot of people, but the hardcore players have mentioned the changes this version has make it not as good as the original.
