Guile

Guile still hasn't got any new special moves, but he has got a super combo, plus some of his normal punches and kicks have been changed.

(Hold = Hold down any attack button for 2 seconds)

Special moves

SONIC BOOM
(B (charge) F+P)

This is a projectile attack, and it's extremely effective since Guile can throw them fairly quickly and with little recovery time.


SOMERSAULT KICK
(D (charge) U+K)

This overhead kick can take out opponents who jump towards you and can also be devastating at close range.


SUPER COMBO: DOUBLE SOMERSAULT KICK
(DB (charge) DF, DB, UF+K)

Guile will do 2 somersault kicks in a row, use when next to the opponent to get the most hits and do the most damage.


Throws

STRONG PUNCH

Guile tosses his opponent.


FIERCE PUNCH

Guile uses a suplex technique on his opponent.


AIR STRONG & FIERCE PUNCH

Guile has an air throw. He can catch jumping opponents and toss them to the ground.


AIR FORWARD & ROUNDHOUSE KICK

Guile has another air throw. He can catch jumping opponents and drop with them to the ground, slamming them.


Changes

STANDING FIERCE PUNCH

This new punch replaces the back hand from the previous versions.


FORWARD STANDING FIERCE PUNCH

To do Guile's original fierce punch, you need to be holding forward before pushing the button.


FORWARD/BACKWARD SHORT KICK

Previously, if you held back or forward on the joystick and pressing the forward kick button, Guile did a knee strike. This is now done with the short kick button instead.


FORWARD/BACKWARD FORWARD KICK

Guile's hopping spin kick can now be controlled -as in if you press the forward kick button whilst holding forward on the joystick, Guile will actually move forward whilst using this kick.


STANDING ROUNDHOUSE KICK

Guile has a new strike for this attack and he moves forward whenever he does it.


CLOSE RANGE ROUNDHOUSE KICK

A new animation for this move.

Jumping forward fierce punch > standing fierce punch > fierce sonic boom

Jumping forwards roundhouse kick > crouching strong punch > somersault kick
