Balrog

Balrog is considered to be one of the best, if not the best, characters in the game. Most of his normal punches are good, you can keep a final punch ready and waiting throughout a match, his super move is really good and his headbutt throw is still very effective.

(Hold = Hold down any attack button for 2 seconds)

Special moves

DASH PUNCH MEDIUM
(B (charge) F+P)

A dashing straight punch.


DASH PUNCH HIGH
(B (charge) F+K)

This version of the dash punch is great for hitting opponents that jump at you.


FINAL PUNCH
(Hold all 3 punch or kick buttons, then release)

The longer you hold down the buttons, the more damage it does.


SHOULDER BUTT
(D (charge) U+P)

Balrog does a jumping shoulder charge which can hit jumping opponents out of the sky.


DASH GROUND PUNCH
(B (charge) DF+P)

This move send Balrog dashing at the opponent before he does a low punch.


DASH GROUND HIGH PUNCH
(B (charge) DF+K

Yet another dash punch variant.


SUPER COMBO: CRAZY BUFFALO
(B (charge) F, B, F+P or K)

This is a large combo of punches. Balrog does different punches depending on which buttons you pressed to do the move.


Throws

STRONG & FIERCE PUNCH

Balrog grabs the opponent and starts to headbutt them, mash the buttons to do more hits and damage.

Crouching strong punch > shoulder butt


3 HIT COMBO

Jumping forwards roundhouse kick > standing forward kick > dash punch high


4 HIT COMBO

Crouching jab punch > standing jab punch > standing jab punch > dash punch medium
