Ryu
Ryu's fireballs have been changed and he now also has a new version of the move which can set the opponent on fire. The air version of his hurricane kick has also been altered.

Special moves
HADOUKEN
(QCF+P)
Ryu's standard fireball projectile. The speed of it is dependant on which punch button is pressed.
SHAKUNETSU HADOUKEN
(HCF+P)
This new red fireball will set the opponent on fire if it connects. At close range, it will make the opponent fall over.
SHORYUKEN
(F, D, DF+P)
Ryu's dragon punch isn't quite as good as in previous games as it isn't as invincible as before. It is still one of his most effective moves though.
TATSU MAKI SEN PU KYAKU
(QCB+P, air also)
This spin kick can only hit the opponent once. The air version can be performed whilst either jumping up or when going back down from a jump.
Throws
STRONG & FIERCE PUNCH
Ryu throws the opponent over his shoulder.
FORWARD & ROUNDHOUSE KICK
Ryu uses one of his legs to send the opponent flying.
Changes
HADOUKENS
Ryu's hadoukens have new sprites, and the size of them are dependant on which punch button is used.
FIERCE SHORYUKEN
The fierce punch version of this move now always knocks down the opponent if done right next to them.
AIR
TATSU MAKI SEN PU KYAKU
The air version of this move now has Ryu float either upwards or downwards, rather than move straight forward/backward like in the previous game.
