After the disastrous Amiga version of The World Warrior, U.S. Gold tried again with this 1995 release of Super Street Fighter II. I've never played this, and don't know much about the hardware, but my understanding is that there are two versions of it -one for the older Amiga machines, and one for the then new Amiga 1200 system. These Amiga ports were also apparently only ever released in Europe.

The above four screens are from the non-1200 versions, which feature a huge black border around the energy bars. Apparently there is no animation in the backgrounds, plus you can only play with either music only or sound effects only, not both. I haven't been able to find a video of this version in action, but it does look better than the terrible port of The World Warrior.

The above two screens are from the 1200 version. The borders round the energy bars are gone, but the window size seems to be smaller than the other version? The backgrounds aren't animated, but the colors are better, and the animation is smooth and fast. It looks like music and sound effects can be on together, and all the character voices are there.
