The cross at the start of the game has some blue streaks on it in the Japanese version which were removed from other versions of the game.

Some of the enemy sprites are very slightly different between versions, like the purple zombies in the first stage.


"Beginning" (Stage 1 BGM)

The Japanese version has different sounding music compared to all other versions of the game. This is due to the Japanese cartridges having an extra chip in them which allowed for superior music. Or inferior, depending on what you think.


NOTES

-The first name of the Belmont in this game is Ralph in the Japanese version and Trevor in all other versions of the game.
