Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (Xbox 360)

Rather than play this online, I've been trying to complete all of the trials for every character. Each fighter has a set of challenges to complete, which start off easy but can get very difficult very quickly, with all kinds of complex combos. I've got around two thirds of the cast done, but some of the ones left I have no idea on how to do. Ibuki and Viper both have trials where you have to cancel their super jumps into their ultra combos, which I can't seem to do at all. I'll keep trying though.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Xbox 360)

I haven't started the single player yet, but I have played a few more games with Ragey. Unfortunately I found out that whoever hosts the game has an advantage in terms of lag, so whoever is the second player can expect like one second delays between pressing a button and something happening on screen. It's a shame the netcode for this isn't very good, but then for a lazy port like this I'm surprised they let you play online at all. I might go through the one player mode in a month or two.

BlazBlue Calamity Trigger (Xbox 360)

After briefly playing every game in the series I had last month, I started with the 360 version of the first game this month, and played through the story mode. I was surprised how in-depth it was, as there are multiple paths to take and you have to find them all to fully see everything. I've beaten the story mode with most of the cast, expect Litchi and the bosses. My favourite characters are Jin, Noel and Hakumen. I also think Bang Shishigami is great, whilst I can't use him that well, much of his dialogue is hilarious. I haven't played much online yet, but then not many people seem to be playing this as a newer game in the series has been out for a while.

Ryuuko no Ken Gaiden (Neo Geo)

I came so close to one credit clearing this, but the final boss is the usual overpowered cheap monster you usually get in an SNK fighter. I used Ryo and sailed through most of the game without problems, but I still need to work on outsmarting Wyler's A.I. One thing I don't like about this game is how many moves can knock you down, even when they are things like simple jab punches. It slows the flow of the match when you are constantly falling over, even though it really looks like you shouldn't be.
