Turtles in Time Re-Shelled (Xbox 360)

Disappointing update of the second arcade game. I beat it with each of the four turtles on either the easy of medium difficulty select (haven't tried hard mode and don't really want to). I unlocked all the levels for the quick play mode. I haven't been able to try this game online -I've created a lobby but nobody joined after 30 minutes, so I guess this game isn't very popular. The only reason I got it was because it had a one week only price cut (400 MS points instead of 800).

The only other mode is a survival mode where you have to try and beat the game on one life, I haven't tried it yet.

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection (Xbox)

With the news that the original version of Xbox Live is closing down, I wanted to get a few games of SFIII 3rd Strike in. This was the first Street Fighter game I played over the Internet after all. Sadly I only got three games done and I had to play this on my Xbox 360, leading to some poor backwards compatibility. There were some graphical glitches and if either player jumped very high the game would slow down. The lag was bearable but I'm hoping Capcom will release this as a Live Marketplace title instead with everything fixed up, I know I'd buy it.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360)

Largely been playing team deathmatch online, I'm at level 35 at the moment. I tried some of the other modes but team deathmatch is simple no nonsense combat. The weapons I've been using are the FAMAS or one of the heavy machineguns. The perks (awards for getting killstreaks) I have are UAV (radar), sentry gun and the predator missile.

Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360)

A new DLC chapter came out for this called Lost in Nightmares, starring Chris and Jill. It's a little on the short side and doesn't have many enemies (3 different enemy types, one of which is Wesker) but it brings back the scary atmosphere of the earlier games in the series, something which was absent entirely from RE5's story mode. I beat this on all four difficulty levels and also tried out the online co-op which worked well. Another bonus is that this DLC also comes with two extra characters for the new Mercenaries mode, one of them being none other than Barry Burton from the first game, who is awesome to play as. "I have THIS!" There is another DLC chapter due out next month and I'm looking forward to it.

Garou Densetsu 2 (Neo Geo)

Now that I finally have a Neo Geo I'll admit that I never really gave this version a chance. Playing it reveals that it isn't that bad and the CPU is a lot more forgiving than in Fatal Fury Special, which was an update to this. I like to try and do one credit plays on fighting games and I could get to Laurence (the penultimate boss) with Terry. I can do O.K. with Andy too. Playing this version is a lot easier than playing the PS2 version in Fatal Fury Battle Archives as the controls in this seem a lot more responsive.
