Halo (PC)

Not 100% sure why I suddenly decided to replay this but I did and it wasn't as totally terrible as I used to believe! Yes, it is over-rated, but there were some things I was quite impressed by, like how large some of the levels were. Something I was surprised at however was at how short the single player mode is -I never realised how few levels there actually were until now. Plus some of the levels drag on, especially that one where you have to follow the little orb thing around (I think the level was called The Library or something like that). Anyway, I beat it, online multiplayer is still shit, etc etc.

Garou Mark of the Wolves
(PS2)

I beat the game with Terry, Rock and Marco. Terry was the only character I beat the game with without having to use a continue. A lot of people say that Kain (the last boss) isn't cheap, but I think he is -just not to the degree as most SNK fighting game bosses. I also completed survival mode with Terry and Marco.

Akumajō Dracula X Chi no Rondo (PC Engine)

I beat this game with Richter, getting the standard ending. So far I've rescued two of the four girls -one of them being Maria, the other being some green haired lady. I've unlocked a few more of the secret levels too. I have to say I do not like the ways of finding some of the hidden stages as a couple have involved jumping down pits that I presumed would lead to an instant death -I never would have found some of the extra stages without looking on cheat sites. Most of the game is quite easy to get through - although both forms of Shaft gave me some trouble and they were actually harder than the fight against Dracula. It doesn't help that, of course, the Dracula battle in this game is the same as the one you have at the start of SotN -he may be a little harder here but I've done that battle so many times in SotN I did it first time in this game.

Hokuto no Ken (PS2)

I completed survival mode with Shin. This mode is quite difficult as unlike in survival modes of other fighting games, none of your health bar is replenished between fights. There are only 10 characters to beat but when your up against guys like Kenshiro and Raoh...yeah, tough times. Shin is my favourite character in this, despite having one of the worst Fatal K.O. moves in the game (his is really slow to start up). I've also being trying to beat the mode with Yuda but I haven't managed it.

I tried out Mamiya a bit in single player. I'm not very good with her but then she seems to be the weakest character in the game and nobody seems to use her in the tournament videos I've been watching.

The King of Fighters '94 Re-bout (PS2)

I finally managed to beat the re-bout mode without using a credit. Rugal is quite horrible in this game but he does make some stupid mistakes that you can take advantage of as long as you are fast. I also beat the original Neo Geo mode, also without the use of a continue (I like beating fighting games without using continues...don't ask me why). I used the Art of Fighting team for both modes.
