These early screens are from some American game store ads, featured in magazines like EGM. This screenshot shows Michael Max's stage. Michael's sprite is different, lacking details and colors, most notably he has all black boots and is missing his hood. The background is missing a row of spectators, and the plant pots in the bottom right are different. The HUD is missing the character portraits next to the life bars, the character names and the score. Above Michael's life bar is some strange text, seemingly stating "PACK NO". |

This screen shows Duck King's background. The character portraits are next to the life bars, but the scores and character names are missing, and the PACK NO text is there. Duck has won round one but the background is the night time setting, this only happens during round three in the final version. Richard and the basketball player are missing in the background, but the biggest difference here is that Terry is throwing out a blue power wave, in the final, these waves are yellow. |

This screenshot shows Billy's stage. You can see more of the strange text, which has "RANGE=0" above "PACK NO=1", presumably this is related to some kind of debug mode. The background is missing a row of spectators are the car sprites aren't fully there, you can just see some tires and black marks. Part of the bridge is different, where the railings connect. The sky and far background with the hills also appears to be different. |

A screenshot featured on the back of the Japanese Neo Geo version's box. Nothing too different other than the lack of scores, and Terry's blue power wave. |
