Preview	Final
These preview pictures were featured in issue 72 of Electronic Gaming Monthly. Whilst there are only 14 characters on this early select screen, the magazine states there will be 22 characters in the finished game. The player select text seen in the preview was taken out of the final. Other differences include the 1P and 2P markers, plus the preview lacks the character's names.

The gauges are different, with them being larger in the preview. The character names are missing, and the actual characters have thick black outlines around them, which the final version removed. Buu's reaction to Goku's punch is also different. Unfortunately I own the PAL version of this game, which changed the text between the life bars. In the preview it states LIFE and POW, in the Japanese final version it's LIFE and POWER.
