-Any screenshot showing an image of the vs mode have some oddities on them:

The character names are missing under the spirit gauges. But the bigger change is that above the life bars there are scores, whilst in the final game, it displays how many wins a player has. The above screenshot showing John's background also has the people watching the fight in slightly different places. Finally, the screenshot showing the bottle cut bonus game is missing the timer gauge.

-The screenshot showing Robert fighting Todo has the timer at above the default of 60 seconds -it is possible to do this is the MVS version, as there is a setting that lets you alter the timer. However in the home version, you cannot change the timer.

-The Japanese version's manual has a 6 page "opening story" comic which the English version completely omits. It instead replaces it with two pages that have a condensed, text-only explanation of the story.

-On page 10, the screenshot is mirrored for some reason, despite the same screenshot being used on the back of the box insert and looking fine there.

-On page 13, the text claims you need to hold the A and B buttons down together to restore your spirit gauge, which isn't the case -just hold down A or B.

-Micky's name is consistently spelt as "Mickey" in the manual.

-On pages 16 and 17, two moves names have been mixed up -Ryo's fireball is named the ryu geki ken, whilst Robert's is named the koh oh ken. These should be the other way around.
