(VA: Mari Mashiba)

A martial artist from Jotoh Academy who uses special breathing techniques. She is sent to track down Rina, but then has to deal with Natsuki. Akira has several throws, but like Rina, her command grabs can all be blocked by the opponent.

Dash moves

STANDING

Akira will charge forward and do a swipe attack. This move has excellent range, as it covers the entire length of the screen.


CROUCHING

Akira will crouch, then hit the opponent with a shoulder barge.


JUMPING

Akira will jump straight up, then dive down and hit the opponent with her knee. Unlike her other dash moves, this one doesn't knock the opponent down if it connects.


Special moves

MOUNTAIN STORM
(B, F+SP)

Akira will try to grab the opponent, if she gets them she'll throw them to the floor.


THUNDER MOUNTAIN STORM
(B, DB, D, F+SP)

A variant of the mountain storm which does more damage, but is harder to perform.


TOMOE-NAGE
(QCF+SK)

Akira will attempt to grab the opponent, if she gets them she'll use one of her legs to send them flying to the other side of the screen.


WATERFALL
(HCB+SP, stun gauge must be red)

Akira will try to grab the opponent, if she manages it she'll hold them above her head, then slam them to the floor.


COUNTER: STEEL BODY TECHNIQUE
(F, B, F+SP)

Akira will move forward slightly, and try to grab the opponent. If she gets them she'll choke them a few times, then slam them to the floor.
