As with what happened with the SEGA Saturn port of X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, this port was only released in Japan. There are two versions available: one with a 4-Meg RAM cartridge (which is needed to play the game), one without. Both were released in 1998.
This version is just like the arcade game, with barely any load times. It has some extra features such as a unlockable mode that lets you go straight to the fight against Mech-Gouki. Like the Playstation version, it also adds more costume colors for characters.
This is still the best console port of the game, and since Capcom don't seem to want to re-release Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter anytime soon, the SEGA Saturn version is the one to go for.
