Magneto
Magneto is the game's final boss. He is not playable in the arcade version unless you hack it, but in the Playstation version you can actually play as him in the versus mode by using a cheat. As you will already know if you've ever fought him, Magneto is extremely powerful and the deadliest character in the game. Both players can select Magneto, but unfortunately he only has one costume color. Remember, Magneto's X power gauge fills up automatically!
Moves List
EM DISRUPTOR
(FP, air also)
A very fast and powerful projectile beam. To do the air version, press the strong punch button whilst jumping.
MAGNETIC BLAST
(FP whilst jumping)
Magneto will send out an angled projectile at his opponent.
EM PULSE
(QCF+SP, air also)
Magneto will send out several streams of energy.
HYPER GRAV
(QCB+SK, air also)
Magneto will summon several energy spheres, which will zoom towards the opponent. If they hit (they can't be blocked), the spheres will take the opponent in front of Magneto and hold them there for a few seconds.
TAUNT
(QCF+RK)
Unlike taunts for other characters, Magneto's does not help to fill up his X power gauge.
STAGE SHIFT
(QCB+FP)
This will cause the platform to move in the Avalon stage, sending you to a different part of the base. The problem is I don't think you can select Avalon as a stage in the Playstation version.
MAGNETIC TEMPEST
(QCF+JP, then QCF+FK, air also)
This only works on the Avalon stage, at the part of the background with a spaceship in it. Magneto will summon several bits of metal. Do the second motion to throw the metal at your opponent. Either part of the move can be done in the air. The only problem with this is, like I mentioned above, I don't think you can select Avalon as a stage in the Playstation version. However, you can do the first part of the move on any stage, but no metal will appear. Strange...
X-ABILITY MOVE
FLIGHT
(QCB+JP, air also)
This lets Magneto fly around the screen. He can fly for several seconds, or you can input QCB+FK to end it early.
X-ABILITY MOVE
FORCE FIELD
(QCF+FP)
Magneto will summon a force field which surrounds him. This makes him invulnerable! The force field will last for a few seconds, although the opponent can destroy it faster by repeatedly hitting it with attacks. The force field can only be used once per round.
HYPER X MOVE
MAGNETIC SHOCKWAVE
(QCF+SK)
Magneto hits the ground, which creates several columns of energy that spread in front of him.
